Ya'll at the game were INCREDIBLE today. Peyton couldn't figure out what he was doing. Those delay of games in the 3rd quarter were hilarious and awesome.

Thank you so much to everyone who was at the game and contributed your voices and spirit to the win, for those of us who couldn't be there. That was the best fan performance I've ever seen.

WE DID IT! GO TEXANS!

Oh god. You mean Joe Texan's loud unintelligible cheering was a force for good? Oh God we'll never hear the end of this.

Seemed pretty loud on tv. One of the commentators during the game mentioned that Peyton claims noise doesn't phase him in any way and all I was thinking was buuulllllshhhh

lol, I already ran out of rep power for the next 24 hours. so when all the folks in Houston get home from the game they will have to wait!

love you guys!

great post, our fans showed up on time and were wild all game - even through the usual 2nd and 3rd quarter lull. manning is notorious for actually enjoying the noise, but even on the broadcast we could tell that the fans were taking it to another level.

i didnt see bill run onto the field and punch manning in the junk though ... wtf.

N.D. Kalu just mentioned the crowd on 610, he said they did a great job, and knew when to get loud at the right times.

Yeah, Dan Dierdorf was beating that to death and as the game rolled on it created problems. Dierdorf was driving me nuts today but if I'm being fair he wasn't saying anything history-wise I wouldn't have said. It was still no fun to hear every five minutes when you've lived the 1-15 history he kept bringing up.

To the business of this thread. No kidding guys and gals at the game. Nice job. First thing I saw was fannies in seats from the get-go and my God were you loud. Great job.

I was elsewhere watching the game so before the night is over I'm going to read the game thread and try to peal this smile off my face. What a great day to be a Texan fan! :fans:

You're welcome!

People would not shut up while the Texans were on offense though, i guess we still have some things to work on.

You're welcome. My booming voice can be heard from the gridiron. I scream like Jamie Lee Curtis... I think? Doesn't she have like the best scream or something?

:kitten:

My voice is completly gone, even when I was tired of screaming I could tell we were making a difference so I continued and it helpedbut my voice is gone I feel like I have strep!

Yeah. He shut up real quick about "In the Colt's system they can just plug in players and coaches anywhere and not miss a beat." After the score went 13-0, I never heard that comment again.

Hehe, that was insane today. I still have a voice at the moment, but I'm thinking tomorrow will be sketchy. Nice of Mario to give the fans kudos in his post game interview for our enthusiasm.

Peyton says noise doesn't bother him? Hmm...delay of game, couple of false starts, couple of last minute time outs... you could have fooled me. I, for one, thought it was hilarious seeing him get so frustrated. He's such a whiny baby when he gets frustrated.

I have no voice left. I want to yell at my son, and it just isn't happening. We were awesome today in the stands.

Just saying.

I noticed today there were many shots of him just sitting by himself on the bench and it was always when things were worst for the Colts. I always thought he was such a hard worker (if you will) between series' and don't recall seeing that before. Point is I had the same thought. Sort of, "so this is Forehead when he doesn't get his way."

I don't think he ever heard noise before. His team is usually ahead. Kudos to everyone at the game :thisbig:

The crowd was there before the kick off and were plenty loud.

I have been a critic, along with others, how our crowd does not go to quiet mode on offense, however, I thought it may have been their best performance in a loud, high stakes game. Moreover, I felt it got better as the game went on.

What a day, and thankfully a pleasant and optimistic ride home to Austin due to a collective inspired performance.

This is great in so many ways to hear!

I must admit that I am very jealous that I missed this game and from what it seems the fans going nuts.

It is all good though because next home game vs Dallas I will be at Reliant and it will be even more loud and crazy!!!
:splits:

At one point in the 4th quarter I just stood back, watched, and listened to the crowd!! Man alive, it brought tears to my eyes!! EVERYONE from the first level to the 7th was on their feet, waving those silly white towels, and MAKING NOISE!! It was AWESOME! The fans played a big part in our win today, no doubt about it!!

Anyone who has watched PM long enough knows that TIMING is his forte. He has meticulous timing with his players, and the way to beat him is to disrupt that timing. WE, the FANS, did that today!! I am sooooo friggin proud of everyone!! :gotexans1

it was pretty loud today but for some reason i go back to last years Frisco game was louder in the 4th qtr and the roof was open i dont know maybe it was the heat but people were going ape **** LOL

and the pats game last year was pretty loud for brady

i think in time when we get a few playoff games under our belt a few back to back to back playoff seasons under our belt the fan turn out will be bigger and louder ...

I believe there was a time when we were up 13-7 and it was 3rd and 10 and then Colts got a false start that forced it to 3rd and 15 and then Mario got the sack and forced them to punt. Great Job fans. Great job.

Definitely one of the top games in Texans history for fan participation. Still need some work on the quiet on O thing. You could see O players frequently flapping for quiet.

It was weird sitting in a stadium and having Colts fans getting quieter and quieter around us as their ideas of a comeback faded away.

The stands were white for the whiteout the noise was off the hook, and Bill was to busy making noise to get down on the feild. I would be willing to bet that Bill was that deep Rumble that made the TV speaker sound blown.

Hell yes, we were loud today!

On a side note, I'd like to point out that today was the second time I had the opportunity to sit in the club level from my usual seats in the 600's.

The last time I had seats on that level was Christmas Eve a few years ago when we had our only other win against the Colts.
Basically, y'all can thank me for the two wins against the Colts, and you should think seriously about pitching in to make sure I sit there for every Colts game.

hmmm. now that i think about it, maybe y'all should get me in those seats for every game... I mean, ya never know, right?

Great day to be a TEXAN!

Really? Must be because you were at the game. On TV, it seemed to get dead silent when Houston was on offense.

No, he's right. I wasn't very happy on several occasions while we had the ball.
It's hard to be critical, though. People were just amped up...

I think thats the loudest I've ever heard. Heading back to San Marcos in the morning.

Peyton was definitely a bit rattled, we did what we could in 138.

The biggest time I remember when the fans were too loud on offense was when we converted on 4th down. Other than that I didn't notice too much.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they announced the attendance right when we were going on offense? Of course the crowd went nuts and the players started with the "STFU" waving of the arms. LOL. Stupid announcer.

Not to mention during one of the timeouts while we were on offense they had the t-shirt guys out there with Toro, and the fans were getting so loud. I noticed they stopped that in a hurry.

Ya gotta remember the Colts fans were making some noise also. Not all were quiet during our time on offense. Seems to be getting better though. I think the fans were just hyped up yesterday and hard to calm down.

I sit in the middle of the Bullpen and I can assure you there are LOTS of fans who rarely watch the game. They are to busy flapping their jaws at each other, pouring beer down their throats, flirting with any male with a tattoo, and shoving fake boobs in someones face. They have NO friggin idea when the offense is on the field, and probably don't even know the offense from the defense. Aggrivates the hell out of me, but, I guess that's their right since they have the ticket. Ignorance is bliss, so they say!!

Damn, I must of been sitting in the wrong section!

I literally can't talk today. I was in 645 and don't know if anyone could hear us but we were pretty loud. There were 8 or 10 people quieting us down (myself included) on offense.

I was at the Finals in 95 and I'll tell you this much. The Summit wasn't as loud as it was when they got the DOG penalty. I couldn't even hear myself yelling.

Where the hell does that happen in the Bull Pen?? I need to change my seats!! :foottap:

Great job on the noise and disrupting the Colts offense, it was exciting!
