Week 14: Seahawks vs. Texans Gameday Thread

This is why Kubiak pisses me off. Foster is infinitely better than Brown yet he used that bum all year.

Hey, Kubiak's "kids" are on a seniority system, like in high school and college.

He's got his own little system for how he does things, just ask Jacoby.

Time to throw in a screen pass to Foster.

We're killin' them on the run and on the pass plays.

The screen pass would be huge right now, IMO.

Screens are a good counter to a blitz... seattle isn't blitzing right now. Not sure how effective it would be. On the flip side, surprised Seattle isn't running some screens. This is the most I've seen the Texans blitz all season.

Sucks watching players that Gary Kubiak refused to play earlier in the year, play well now when an injury happens (I'm talking RB Arian Foster). Could have been a great 1-2 punch with Slaton and a mix of Moats, but NO, we HAD to have Chris Brown. **** Kubes and Brown.

Ryan Moats and Arian Foster are infinitely better than the loser Chris Brown. Kubiak should be fired for starting that POS against the Titans. Moats has run better than any of our RBs all season. This pisses me off to see us blow games when we had better guys on the frigging bench.

The 'Hawks are bringing pressure. Not sure what you're seeing that I am not.

Looks like they are ramping up the pressure on Schaub.

Well, he hasn't gotten a PI penalty yet...

So what better way to get his name out there than to yank on some facemask!

Once again, Frank Bush's defense has to clean up Kubiak's mess.

I know Kubiak didn't personally fumble the ball, but this is HIS offense and HE hasn't corrected all sorts of irritating problems that have cost this team earlier in the season.

Texans were just killing the clock with the run... there were no pass plays. So yes, I didn't see any pressure on Schaub in that last series.

I personally think we've reached a point that in my opinion, Dunta is intentionally doing these things as payback for the franchise tag. He's assuring himself he won't be tagged again next year. I suppose that's reason enough to let this POS go.

The defense is much better coached than our Offense with the supposed offensive "genius" Kubiak and wunderkind Little Shanny.

Thats a little harsh

But in doing so, he is lowering his own value. I mean, it is doubtful he gets a max contract now. He has not shown pre Dunta form this season. Maybe getting out of Htown was what he really wanted all along?

IMO, Dunta better pray that we franchise his sorry ass after his pitiful performance this season. Who is going to offer him good money for his "brand" of football play?

I would love for Frank Bush to sit Dunta down and go with the two rookies at CB for the rest of the season, starting right now with the next 'Hawks possession.

Dunta can come in on the nickel.

Sit him down and end his season. And see what he gets from other NFL teams in the off-season. Which shouldn't be much, IMO.
