Would you trade up to 11 if Trubisky falls out of the top 10?

Someone said they'd go get him if he fell to 12. May have been you, I can't remember.

If I thought he was the 5th best player in this draft... I'd trade up to #1 to get him if I could.

It was me. And yes I would trade up as far as I could for him. 12s probably the highest we could go.
 
So all O tackles probably there #25 plus Mahomes and if ILB Reuben Foster there he's gonna be my selection..nah I see CB Chidobe Awuzie probably my pick. He starts game 1 at nickle allowing Kareem to move to safety. This removes need to draft a safety and if we move on from Joseph after 2017, we have KJ, Awuzie and K Johnson for 2018.

Just fwiw he may be a my fav player in terms of overall likelihood of meeting a high ceiling vs worst case solid low ceiling ...

... if any of that makes any sense.
 
I love foster but where does he start? McKinney and him are the same player in this defense. Ramzic (sp) or Lamp at 25 would understandable. Mahomes just seems like such a risky pick with so much talent but again it would be understandable.

- Didn't know you were making a Texans-specific big board, thought maybe it was just an all-encompassing version.

- He'd start alongside McKinney, and I don't think they're exactly the same. Foster is more versatile moving around in space, at just about any angle. In fact he can pretty much do whatever is asked of him from what I've seen. Not sure what would preclude them from playing side-by-side really.

- Wasn't suggesting taking him over anyone else necessarily, just asking about his exclusion was all.

I didn't do a good job of explaining this. What I'm saying is these are the 25 players in order that I would draft him when our pic comes up. In other words the highest rated player on his board that's available when we pick is who I'm picking. I would take them over any QB or OL in this draft.

actually after reading this post and rereading your original I understand. You think U of Tex RB Foreman is a top 25 pick? He is good with excellent stats and type of back we need but seems to be ranked much lower. CBS has him #142..4th round.

After this I went back and watched several games focusing on foster. I hadn't watched him in awhile. I for some reason remembered him as a thumper type. Man he's definitely more than that and he's definitely in my top 20 now.

We might as well face it, this team is going to win because of defense. We might as well load up with the best we can get and ride it out while this window is still open. I would have no problem if that's what they decide to do.
