Bengals linebacker David Pollack is out for the season with a neck injury suffered in Sunday’s victory over the Browns.

Head coach Marvin Lewis wouldn't confirm reports of a broken neck and he said it's not a career-threatening injury and expects him back next year. He also said it looks like Pollack won't need surgery and he's expected to leave the hospital later Monday.

Pollack broke his %$#*&^ neck. He just got out of his halo brace. At first the Dr said he was done. Since then the Dr has said the operation went better than expected and Pollack would have to continue rehabilitation before they made a final decision on Pollack's football career. I doubt he will be ready for the 2007 season.

Pollack was injured while playing against the Cleveland Browns on September 17, 2006 where he was taken off the field on a stretcher. He suffered a broken neck and was placed on injured reserve, ending his 2006 season. On December 14, 2006, it was announced that he will undergo surgery and will most likely end his football career. On January 7th, ESPN reported that Pollack would be able to resume his career as long as the rehabilitation process went as planned.

That's why they teach you in junior high to keep your head up when your hitting or tackling.

I read about it a while ago and I think it happened in situation like that.

Come on guys let's keep this going...it's pretty pathetic that it takes 2 days for every pick after the texans. If we want to do this let's do it. see how the first round plays out and who's there for us in the second. in the end this isn't one person swaying the whole draft so we can get our guy...i think we've done a great job so far in making good picks...bpa and need based.

its the weekend so hopefully we can get this going again...i will be out untill about 2 tomorrow cuz we're goin to tha casino!!! lol

Cincinnati picks:
Darrelle Revis-1
Lamarr Woodley-1

Titans on the clock...

WR Dwayne Jarrett

I really think they may go / should with revis...arguably the best cb in the draft and would help their secondary out a lot...opposite pacman...BUUTT.

I for these mock purposes...Tennessee selects DWAYNE JARRETT to help out Vince Young.

although meachem could be agreat fit...but prob. will not last to them in the 2nd...it'd be nice to see him stay in tenn.

I like Dwayne Jarrett for VY as well, seems like the type of WR who keeps playing until the whistle blows & is alert to pocket pressure, making a conscious effort to come back for the ball, that should = the go to guy for VY :winky:

Fisher goes defense. TEN selects D Revis, CB.

(Did anyone see that latest Yahoo Mock? Aaron Ross? the top CB drafted?! :shades: )

19. Tennessee- Dwayne Jarrett WR
20. New York- Darrelle Revis CB
21. Denver-

Now on the clock..the Broncos.

The select Daymeion Hughes.

The broncos biggest need is on their d-line. Tough to choose from jarvis moss, quentin moses, quinn pitcock,..etc.

In the end I'd have to agree that Denver chooses Jarvis Moss.

Moss is 20 pounds lighter than Johnson and since Dumervil is already somewhat undersized I would think they would go for an every down end in Johnson. That said the Broncos always move around so predicting them is nearly impossible. Johnson is my pick though.

a little undersized- he is 5'11 and 255 lbs. mainly pass rusher.

i say johnson as well.

Jason Taylor 6'6" 237 pounds. 2006 Defensive POY....:shades:

Dallas: Justin Blalock

Jerry Jones is back running the draftso who knows, where is Quincy? Jones is not going to take OL so I say Rice to impress JG.
