In this one we trade with the Raiders for their 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 1st/2nd next year.
1) Oakland Raiders - Matt Leinart, QB, USC: The Raiders decided that they needed to move past Collins and get a QB.
2) New Orleans Saints - Vince Young, QB, Texas: With Leinart off the board, the Saints go with the next best QB prospect.
3) Tennessee Titans - D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia: Without the top 2 QBs available, the Oilers take D'Brick because they don't perceive a need at RB, although they do consider taking Bush.
4) New York Jets - Reggie Bush, RB, USC:
The Jets are elated that Bush has fallen to them. This will be the fastest pick in the draft.
5) Green Bay Packers - A.J. Hawk, LB, Ohio State: The Packers need defensive help, so they decide that KGB is sufficient for their pass rush and get Hawk instead.
6) Houston Texans - Mario Williams, DE, N.C. State: Because we're moving to a 4-3, Super Mario is the obvious choice here.
7) San Francisco 49ers - Michael Huff, DB, Texas: They have a lot of needs, but one that's really outstanding is their pass defense. Huff is a versatile guy that they can put anywhere.
8) Buffalo Bills - Haloti Ngata, DT, Oregon: Anyone who thinks that DTs don't have as much impact should look at the Bills. Without Pat Williams, their rush D plummeted to 31st. This monster should come in and replace him.
9) Detroit Lions - Jimmy Williams, CB, Virginia Tech: A nice DB who can play CB or Safety, either way he'd help shore up the Lions secondary.
10) Arizona Cardinals - DeAngelo Williams, RB, Memphis: Yes, they got J.J. Arrington last year, but with a high level prospect in front of them to help their rushing attack, they bite.
11) St. Louis Rams - Tamba Hali, DE, Penn State: Their defense needs help, Leonard Little is on the wrong side of 30, and here rests a nice-looking pass rusher.
