please add your responses..
what I see out out of our qb position

one that still misses reads... seems to go to primary read and then DD after that (might me because OL ).
hurts the OL at times because holds onto the ball too long or doesn't step up in the pocket..

I think if we had a decent O-line, Carr would be much better. When he has time, he has proven to be a very good QB. I will have to say that Carr does make bonehead plays, but most of the blame should be placed with the O-line. The Texans need to focus on getting some quality lineman to protect Carr, and make DD a 1,500 yard rusher. I know he's capable if he stays healthy.

Carr is a play maker, he can make plays with his feet and his arm, he was even up there with the black guys in top QB rushing yards, haha. This year we have seen the inconsitency of an O-line. In the early part of the season the run blocking was a problem and the pass protection was great, people were doubting DD but Carr and AJ couldnt have been playing better.

Late in the season the O-line seemed to finally be getting the zone blocking scheme but the the pass blocking broke down, DD ran for 100 yards in 4 of the last 6 games and 95 five in one of the other 2, but Carr had no time in the pocket to get the ball to anyone, AJ was being doubled but he couldnt even gett the ball to Gaffney or Bradford. The season ends with the O-line giveing up what 5, 6 sacks? Thats inconceivabe, almost as bad a s year 1. :hairpull:

A QB that gets happy feet after a sack.
A QB that doesn't step up , but runs out wide right.
A QB that isn't as quick on the trigger as he should be.
A QB that doesn't progress well on reads.

However, he is/will be a star. Has improved to a positive TD to INT ratio. One of the top yardage producers (~3,600) and He runs well.

why do yall think that is? DD gets his ,yet the offense sputters?
Maybe they play zone coverage and alow the run to develope?? But thats a good question.

I would have happy feet with the amount of times hes been hit. I think that Alot of times the pressure is comeing from the center of the line and he had no choice but to escape the pocket to the outside.

For someone who only has 6 post.....you hit the nail on the head/without a Great O-line....our Q.B and running backs look pathetic.....The O-line should be 1st priority in the offseason. PERIOD!!!!!!
