Wow Stanford

I think this has to be a bigger upset than Appalachian State at Michigan. I'm speechless.

I'm hoping Florida somehow beats LSU in these last 40 seconds just to see what the polls will look like on Monday.

Eh, So Cal is generally always overrated.

LSU wins....awesome game...just awesome. Love SEC football.

Oops, didn't happen; but I am rooting for all upsets this week. It has just been too weird so far this year. What are they going to do about Texas this week, can they actually be unranked?

No way. I'm sorry but anytime a divison two team comes in and upsurps a top ten team team reigns king.

USC was exposed. John Booty is not a good QB and it was finally shown tonight. See, the Trojans have always been able to waltz through the PAC-10. The level of talent in the PAC-10 has rosen tremenously across the board since USC has garnered all this national attention over the last few years. People want to go to the PAC-10 to compete against the Trojans. They've been able to cakewalk through the schedule but now cannot do that anymore. They were caught and dethroned. Stanford's defense deserves credit here. They took three interceptions off Booty. The PAC-10 is a force to be rekoned with as a whole.

I wanted to Florida to win too but Tebow is just notorious for ups and downs. I really place blame on the head coach, Meyer. Just awful time management. They really should have opened it up with about 1:41 instead of the 1:09. Just poor clock management blowing 29 seconds before calling a timeout on LSU's final drive. He's shown a history of having struggles managing that clock. In the SEC title game last year, I'm pretty sure he burned all 3 timeouts in a single drive early in the 3rd quarter where Florida ended up punting.

So Cal is ALWAYS overrated....along with Texas, Oklahoma, UCLA, Michigan, Notre Dame and all other "top" teams outside the SEC....remember "the best college team in history" last year? (Ohio St.)....they got their teeth kicked when they finally played a real team. Hey Media....go find another pretender. So Cal has been exposed.

i place the blame on LSU, for being ballsy and winning the game.

i'm not blaming Meyer for anything. not the greatest clock management, but it was Les Miles' ballsy playcalling that won the game, Meyer didn't lose it.

Les Miles HAD to be agressive. It was the end of the game. He was down ten points with 7 minutes (not sure exactly) to go. The thing is... the guy went 5 for 5 on fourth downs. That's not really ballsy playing. Luck HAD to be a factor. Two of those 4th down calls went down to the final drive. What I'm trying to say is that you don't get bonus points for calling aggressive plays when your back is against the wall.

I'd say that Les Miles was outcoached by Urban Meyer up until Meyer's mismanagement of the clock.

I caught the end of the game last night and that was fun watching
"Show-Biz/Hollywood" Carrol appear in utter shock as Stanford, a freaking "40 POINT UNDERDOG", win at the end.
And LSU won a close one against a slightly more formidable opponent - the defending NC.
The calls that LSU HC made to help his team win - guys got balls of kryptonite !

So he HAD to go for it on 4th & 1 from the Florida 7?

A FG would have tied the game, but Miles decided to go for the win. Thats guts.

SC loses to Stanford. Bwaaaahaaaahaaaaahaah!!

*dances a jig*

Tied with Arizona 10-10 at halftime.

Can you say overrated? And they still have to play at (9)Oregon, at (2)California, & at (14)Arizona State.

They havent beaten anyone good (dont even say Nebraska) & have done absolutely nothing to prove that they are even a top 3 team in the Pac 10. Their top 10 ranking is based solely on reputation, not on-field performance.

They will have the opportunities to prove me wrong, but I'll say that I'm underwhelmed so far.

USC squeaked out a 20-13 victory against Arizona.

I gotta give them credit for the way they handled their business in the 4th quarter, but a top 10 team should be rubbing it in against Arizona not barely winning.

Arizona shot themselves in the foot with 3 lost fumbles & 8 penalties.

Joe McKnight put the team on his shoulders late in the game. He made some big plays in the 4th quarter. The kid had 123 yds on 17 touches.
