I was wondering the other day, would it be possible to end the season
4-10-6 winning the superbowl?
and as a follow up, which was the team with the worst record to win the SB?
I looked it up but I couldn't find any stat about that
Of the SB teams none has won with 8 or less regular season wins except the strike shortened year the Redskins won with an 8-1 record. The 9 win teams who won are:
1967 Green Bay 9-4-1
2011 Giants 9-7
So I'd say Giants
yeah, 2010 Seahawks went 7-9 and won their division, and beat the Saints in the first round, iirc.
I could see a weak division like the AFC South doing something like that.

Didn't the Ravens also have a pretty suck @$$ year a few years back when they barely made the playoffs and won?

Having trouble trying to follow your numbers here...
4 wins?
10 losses?
6 ties??
Please explain that to me.

I can't conceive of a scenario - in any universe - where all four teams in a division went 0-10-6....yes
4 playoff wins (to win the superbowl from a #4 seed)
10 losses (to have the worst season possible)
6 ties (the division games, win the division at the tiebreaker)
of course this is unrealistic, but it would be the same if the record was
7-13 (4 playoff wins + 3 division wins + 3 division losses + 10 other losses)
In my opinion 4-10-6 is worse than 7-13 because you go to the playoffs with zero wins.
