Win, lose or draw… JAGS in town!

Win, lose or draw… JAGS in town!
Congratulations to my TEXANS! Happy we have 1 game winning streak!

Now let’s build on this and throw the rest away because the JAGS are now in town.

Everyone from Players to Fans know this is our biggest rivalry and as such, the stats don’t matter… no need for motivational speeches or the hype!

Now with that said…. Let’s make this Saturday game a gage on what we have as an NFL Franchise Team:

1. Cheer on the TEXANS
2. Put the Carr on overdrive
3. Play the starters 100%
4. Special plays for the play makers
5. Report on all aspects of the GAME
6. Enjoy & have fun this X-MAS
7. Evaluate on what happen on Monday

This game will be “a true gut check” for everyone not just the players and coaches. After all this is our last home game… cheer and make noises so the Jaguars will know they are the visiting team. I hope we can put the past behind us with the negatives and should haves. Let’s evaluate from here forward and hope that David Carr and the coaching staff opens up the offense. If not, I hope David will be a man and over ride the conservative call playing and take charge… all that can happen if he is pulled out would be that he is finally standing up for what he believes in (right or wrong)! Bring back the fire and let those who are play makers…. make the plays. David, lets face it, the coaches will be gone but you could still earn your name in history as “the moment Franchise Player became a HOUSTON TEXANS”! If you believe… they will come.

I BELIEVE… how about you?

Merry Christmas everyone and go TEXANS.

Amen!! I will be there and I hope we kick the crap out of them and contribute to them not making the playoffs!!!!!!!!!:redtowel:BTW welcome to the board!!!!!!

I beleive the Jags will win the game, a close one as usual. If they do not, however, we Jag fans still have the Titans at home.

A win at either game will get us into the play-offs. From there, who knows?

Given that we have a reputation (justified) for playing at our opponent's level, we may just possibly get past a game or two in the play-offs (shoiuld we make it).

You maybe right... but I think our TEXANS are in the have nothing to lose mind set! This is the TEXANS playoff spot as well, knowing if we win then the TITANS are going to do the same thing! Going on 4th downs, special plays... just hope they don't keep it close! This game will be know as the DON'T PASS GO BOWL. Can you feel the play-off excitment? I DO!!!!

Go Texans:redtowel:

I seriously doubt the Jags are going to lose this game. Yes, the texans do get all motivated when they play the Jags (for a reason that confuses the hell outta' me) and it will be a tough game. But, I'm pretty sure the Jags wont overlook this game, as they did last season. We are looking for the sweep.

BTW, Byron "what injury?" Leftwich is expected to be back on the field by the Tennessee game (Injury was expected to be 8 weeks-season -- it's only been 3 weeks).

Not sure I feel the play-off excitement yet, but I will IF the Jags win.

But, as stated, I am not so sure that will happen.

In the meantime, could someone tell me what has happened between your owners and Capers? He's a fine coach. There must be some friction.

Something has happened to your team. It started with so much promise. I know the blame goes directly to the head coach, but many times his results are related to owner positions. Anyone have any ideas? Just curious because Capers was a fine coach at Carolina.

This is good news for your QB Leftwich:) I think he is a STAR Player ever since that 1st NFL start game (against us). I hope he is not rushing this type of injury because it could be worse down the line... is it worth it? What will this get the JAGS? Maybe a chance to play Pittsburgh who is physical? Oh... they also will play the TITANS who can also be physical. I like Byron and wish the best for him, does this mean Jack has no faith in David Garrard? The Texans can use either one.... maybe a trade latter on.

So the mighty chargers have been reduced to begging the Texans to bail them out. Pathetic!

Sorry, we don't plan to allow that.

You're all we've got a for a rivalry...and you did give us a gimpy Boselli, so that should mean something...and, uuuuuh....we just really dislike teal? idonno:

But yeah, good luck on Saturday. Hopefully Texans faithful shows up strong and makes some noise. A nice little Christmas present win from our boys to push the Jaguars out of the playoff hunt would be nice.

Playing for pride and being a spoiler is all we've got. :ok:

Don't sweat it. We had Bills fans crying to us to beat you guys last year as well. Of course, we held up the end of the bargain. They lost out.

The way I see it is, we as fans endured 3 very bad months of football. I would like to finish the season 3-0. I liked beating the Cardinals because I just don't want to be below a team like that, I wanna beat the Jags because I don't like them and I think all Texan fans deserve this Christmas present, and heck beat the 9ers and not be the sorriest team in the league. I know we want Bush but truthfully if this is his home he will come to us no matter what.

You do what you have to. The Chargers loss to Miami means it isn't in our hands. Right now the Chargers are the 7th seed with only six going to the playoffs. Since we fans can't actually strap on the shoulder pads - all we have is rooting, yelling, begging and praying. Asking for stuff (like a Texan win) is especially appropriate at this time of the year.

The Texans have a decent team with a few glaring weaknesses. Like the Chargers, the Texans have lost a few heartbreakers in the final few minutes.

The Texans are catching the Jags at a good time. The Jags offensive is middle of the road with Leftwich in the back field and even less impressive with the 2nd stringer (as evidenced by last Sunday's game against a horrible SF).

Unfortunately, the Texans glaring weakness is their O-Line, whereas the Jags strength is their pass rush (ranked 3rd w/ Chargers ironically). David Carr might be in deep trouble.

The Texans WILL win! The Texans WILL win! The Texans WILL win! The Texans WILL win! The Texans WILL win!

:redtowel: We have some confidence and a whole lot of dislike of teal on our roster. Add Battle Red and it is going to be one FUN afternoon. At home and with an attitude...

The Texans WILL win!!! :redtowel: :redtowel:

Not really our fault that the Bills themselves could not pull it out :)

we won't win... we will beat the poo out of them and make even garrard go home crying to his mommy haha i dont kno if im the only one to remember but hes the only QB we have completely shut out ^_^

Filo, Fashion police..... RED uni's won't make you win....I am looking to see how many Texan fans show for this game? Jags will take care of business. We always bounce back from bad games, 49ers. The Chargers Fan's should be hoping the Browns beat the Steelers...I could see that happening w/Frye as QB now. Filo, it will be 4-4 and bowl of cream of BEEF.

Hey Mootini… if you are color blind to RED then you’re not going to see anything except those teal uni’s on the side lines. :challenge
Correct on this weekend Division Rivalry Games and only these three have any real meaning: JAC, PIT, S.D division game weekend tends to have upsets. Let’s see how it turns out….. this is what good football games are all about! So enjoy and Go TEXANS!:redtowel:

Not only is it Go Texans!!! Go Browns!!! and ... [gag] ... go Rai...[gag] ... go ... Raid... [vomit] ... ers!!!. Dang, now I have to clean my keyboard.

I should have just said I hope the Broncos get beat by the rapists, robbers and killers (aka Raiders), which doesn't induce the gag reflex.

That Phins game kill you...just like the Texans did last year for the Jags. I think the Steelers will have the hardest divisional game. Texans can bring out their gear, but it's not going to be enough Saturday. Jags 24, Texans 17
