Will it be worth it?

I just received an offer to go with a friend of mine to the Draft Day festivities. This Saturday. I live in Austin. From what I understand the first day only consist of the 1st and 2nd round.

Would it be worth it for me to drive all the way down to Houston for 1 draft pick?

To me draft day is like a holiday. Driving in from Austin is a good little drive but I can just about guarantee that you won't be the only Texan fan making the drive. This year they are encouraging tail gating so it will be even more of an event. To me it would be worth it, but I only have to drive @30 miles.

If you like watching the draft with other people, it is a fun day. You are around a ton of people who love the Texans as much as you do.

In the past, they have had events and tours during the draft day stuff. It is sometimes funny to see people's reactions to different picks.

I like the stadium tours. Last year we went waaaaaay up to the press box in the glass elevator. Cool stuff.
