Will Capers be fired tonight or in the morning?

I wonder if we will see the firing of capers tonight on sports tonight or if we will need to wait till tomorrow morning. Cant wait to see the Rose bowl now, Go horns and go Reggie:tv:

Hopefully the team has booked Capers a seat on Southwest Airlines and are keeping him away from the locker room and the team.
 
Why get so excited about someone losing his job!!? READ the friggin MB!! He will lose his job TOMORROW as has been stated about a million times on this MB, other MBs, the newspaper, ESPN, aol sports, etc, etc, etc!!!!!!!!! TOMORROW dude!! Give it a break!!
 
what I read is there is a press conference for tomorrow at Reliant.
Bob is a class act and so is Capers so I wouldn't expect anything less than a "proper" announcement
 
Yeah, just wonder if he's gonna have one more Capers show on 610 tomorrow afternoon...

Caper's is a class act. I feel sorry for the guy since he seems too loyal to his asst coaches. I hope he stays, poss as D coordiator. He is what i feel would be a better coordinator than the head guy.

Yeah, what exactly is a Class Act? I know its about being professional but i would refer Capers = Class Act = Soft and if i were the owner, I would fire his *** right now; forget about waiting till morning, send him home tonight!

How many figures did Capers get the last 4 years, im willing to bet he made alot more then you and most other posters on this board! Nothing wrong with Fans speaking their minds; BTW fans = fanatics! Sounds like you are taking this personal?

610 has pretty much what has been posted in the threads..... Interesting about the Capers show, I may have to tune into that. Hope the callers show some class.

Okay I will come to your job and announce that it not enough to fire you in the morning, but do it RIGHT NOW!!!!

He is not good at his job, but he is a person. Get a night's sleep he will not be the Texans coach by the time you go to bed tommorrow. Act like you have basic understanding of what it like to be a human being.
 
Having suffered through the horrible season, I hope they act soon. I would like them to interview Gary Kubiak from the Broncos and if they want to do so they would have to do that this week, otherwise they'll have to wait until the end of the Broncos' playoff run.
 
Oh boy. Some of these posts are just plain acidic. There are many of us on here who want Capers gone, but in a respectable manner. What are some of you, gatekeepers and henchmen? :rolleyes:

All of the coaching staff should be fired tomorrow with the statement that the new head coach will form his own staff. Marciano is probably the only person with any right to return.
 
OK I missed it, my brother in law said that on the ESPN ticker that Capers and another coach would be fired tomorrow, who was the other coach named, was it Pendry?

I "believe" all of the assistants, with the exception of Hoke, were working on one year contracts so they are all basically free agents anyway. I think Hoke signed a two year contract before this year.

The big-haired man on Fox Sports Southwest said that Capers would be fired on FRIDAY! Hopefully, he meant Monday. We can't afford to wait a week to start interviewing coaches (and hopefully GMs).

The man has feelings....if he had had an 0-16 season i still wouldnt want to see him get this kind of treatment. Let the man go with dignity...Even a pink soaper like me isnt yelling for his head minutes after the season closes. jeez
