A punctured lung was good for Watson’s longevity? Standing “tall” in the pocket is good for Watson’s longevity?Sooner or later Watson is going to make this offense his. & I really don't think O'Brien is trying to prevent that from happening. He's giving Watson the framework to work in... we don't like it, I don't like it. But it is the right plan for Watson's longevity.
Once Watson makes this offense his, he's going to carry O'Brien to the HOF.
Hey, a man can dream can't he?
This is like asking how many revolutions a caged mouse can make his little wheel turn in a minute. It could be one or 16 but at the end of the day mouse is going nowhere. He’s just burning fuel but will never go anywhere other then his measly little cage.

We know O’Brien by now. He’s not giving up his offense to anyone. Watson isn’t going to change that. He will do what O’Brien tells him to do.
Thing is, the team is the Houston Watson's to some posters.
punctured lung...that's on DW4 playing hero ball.
standing tall in the pocket & not getting rid of it when you should & that leading to unnecessary hits...alot of that's on him too. He's not a robot that only does what BoB tells him to do. He has a great influence on what happens out there by his decisions and reactions to certain things from play to play. & Most of what happens between those white lines is on DW4 & DW4 alone...Gotta take the good with the bad.
When you have a coach with as many questionable calls as Coach B.O. sends out during the games, winning a Super Bowl is out of the question. Did anybody happen to see the KC game? The further you go in the playoffs, the more the pressure is increased. In a Super Bowl, Coach B.O. might punt on 1st down or do something else outlandish.I think we could have won the SB this year with O’Brien if we had a defense. Head coach isn’t everything IMO.
