Enchilada Aficionado.
Vote for the three men you'd most like to see take the field as a Houston Texans wide reciever next season.

I'm going with AJ, Jerome Mathis, and Isaac Bruce

3 aint enough :).

I voted Johnson, Mathis, and Gaffney. Though Mathis im more interested in a a 4th WR and Kick returner.. for our #2 receiver id like to see Givens.

Why is Reggie Bush on there as a wide reciever? Yes, if we draft him he may line up as a WR on a few plays but he's not going to be a WR. Kind of an odd option. I don't think 3 is enough either.

I voted Andre (duh), David Givens, and Isaac Bruce but I don't think Givens and Bruce will both be here next year, if either of them at all. I would prefer Givens to Bruce. Bruce is getting up there in age while Givens has only been in the league for 4 or 5 years. The players I want to see as wide recievers next year are:

Andre Johnson
David Givens
Derrick Armstrong
Corey Bradford
Jerome Mathis
Jabar Gaffney

I would like to see Bruce but I don't see it happening.

Gaffney??
Give me a break. The guy missed Carr's best pass ever by not turning and looking!
Givens is the main man. Experienced, and still very young.

Johnson, Mathis, and Gaffney.

I didn't pick Bush because he's in the backfield next to Domanick Davis and behind Carr. Will he stay there and take the handoff or will he go in motion and then what are the Texans going to do? Defenses everywhere will get to find out next season.

I voted for four: AJ & Bruce as our #1 and #2.

Gaffney as our sure-handed, 3rd down conversion slot receiver w/ Mathis in situational plays w/ the chance to possibly win this spot outright over Gaffney as the season progresses.

#1 AJ, #2 Gaffney, #3 Peerless Price (he was my 1st choice before Givens)...
Use Mathis as #4 and slowly bring him on and rotate the guys around to cause confusion...

I voted for AJ , Gaff and other ..... I'd like to see them take a look at Troy Brown (NE) ..... I think the guy is the ultimate team player and would be a good fit for next season .....Antwaan Randle El would be my second choice.:twocents:

No love for Cory Bradford, huh? I wouldn't mind seeing Issac Bruce for the fact that he wouldn't be a problem and would be great in the locker room.

Except I've seen him for four years. He's nothing special. Time to move on in my book.

Gaffney... Givens........ looks like a wash to me.

I'm one of the seven who voted for T.O. but there is one caveat..... You got to pay me $100,000 to keep his **** in line.... :)

Johnson/Owens/Bush.

What defense would know where or who to play these guys? Its a defensive mis-match from hell.

Okay, there are 99 votes, but only 94 people said they want AJ in their top three.

From those five people who didn't vote for AJ, are you guys crazy or something?

Add in Mathis and well I dont realy know what would happen but it would probably be fun to watch.

I know he is older but Bruce has speed and is known to run some of the best routes. He would be a good teacher and leader for the young receivers like Mathis too. The Broncos had a set up with a strong guy like Rod Smith(AJ) and Lelie(speed) on the other side. Bruce can teach Mathis, and better, to be that guy while lifting us up in the mean time.

Because we Don't need his ego...

I say go with AJ & Mathis with Gaffney in the slot.

Save our money for FA that we could use more like Putzier, and a 4-3 end that way we atleast have someone with experience on the edges to tutor our young ones.

as of this post, 5.13% of the voters DID NOT include AJ as one of their choices ...... Ok who's the moron?

I like AJ, Givens as our #2, Gaffney/Mathis/Armstrong fighting for the #3/slot.

I voted for the 4 out of the 5 as Armstrong was not on the poll. (I know it said 3 choices, but what the heck)

I agree with what most say about Bruce, but I would rather have the younger Givens. If neither than Moulds could bring the experience/leadership.
We really really need a strong #2 WR.

Corey Bradford needs to be shot, then no one can be stupid and sign him. The man is a waste of air, money, food, and life. the man brings destruction where ever he goes. i wouldnt be surprised if he had been on the titanic, in new orleans, and the causeofthe tsunami. when the world ends it will probably be his fault, and if not i'll blame it on him anyway. he is the sole cause of the Texans' current situation and with him gone we can only be better. COREY BRADFORD MUST DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :club:

(im serious)

I think that if the Texans go for Bush and not for Young, which would be a complete mistake but thats another story, then they should draft Reggie McNeal in the latter rounds. #1 He could be the complement at reciever for A.J. that we need so bad. note: 4.3 40 and #2 When Coach Kub is ready to vomit after the third straight start by Carr, he can throw Reggie in their and improve the team by 100% at the QB slot. I'm not a big Aggie Fan but the thought of Reggie and or Bush commanding this ship would be to good to be true.:thumbup

I only saw a few A&M games last season but McNeal didnt impress me. I never thought of him as an NFL QB. His throwing mechanics are worse than VY and I heard that he told his coaches that he wasnt going to play in the 4th quarter of some game.. basically quiting on his teammates... I could be wrong since this is 5th hand info i get when it comes to the Aggs.

I voted AJ, Gaffney and Mathis. I dont know what everyone's problem with Gaff is... besides that one crazy goal line fumble he had he's done nothing wrong for our team.

I sincerely hope that's not the best we can do for this team. If that's all they can give Carr then I don't expect him to be able to put up much better numbers than he did this year unless we can really utilize Andre and have him put up 1500 yard seasons like Randy Moss used to do.
