Why not the Eagles Trotter to Houston?

Trotter is a free agent, image Babin, Wong on the outsides and Sharper, Trotter on the inside, What you think?
 
Trotter doesn't have much pass coverage skill and we put our inside linebackers in lots of iso's (anyone notice how Foreman got lit up over and over last year?). I think that if we signed an over-priced FA we would want an every down player.
 
i think we should have wong move into foremans slot and unleach the mad man...peek. the guy is fast, violent, and has a nose for the ball. everytime he has gotten an op he has taken advantage of it. i think the 1st concern on d is the d-line. if seth goes we gotta find someone to take up a couple of o linemen. i dont think the answer is junior. r there any good FA nose tackles out there?
 
One great thing to comment on is the fact that on offense and defense now we are only talking one player or so to around this team out. The draft is building a strong future and with alittle help in the free agent market this year. This will be a brake out year for the young and talented Houston Texans Team.
 
Trotter = too old (for your team), you guys are doing a good job building through youth, way too much money, basically a good fit for a team one D player away from title contention. Would be an enormous waste of money for the Texans.

Right on the money Chawky. Some folks get in to much of a hurry and want to pick up every free agent so they can win now and forget the tomorrow problems,

Some guy on the Seahawks board said that on the Philly radio stations, Trotter is supposed to visit Atlanta and Seattle. I pray to god that Atlanta overpays this old guy and gets him to go there. Him in Seattle would be as much as a disaster for us as it would be for the Texans.
 
All the Texans D really need is to keep the same look as the way they look at the end of every season, thats when they are always on fire, last year we held the Bears(although horrible offense) to 5 points and then absoultely shutting out jags 21-0 as well as our D scored a touchdown in each of those games. If we get peek in the starting linup on D I truly feel thats all we need to succeed, besides that O-line.
