Why is NE disrespecting Cleveland?

LiveForTheGame

Waterboy
Tom Brady is still in the football game passing and running their offense at the end of the 3rd quarter while New England is absolutely pounding the Browns. They need to quit disrespecting Cleveland and take Brady out of there. Someone needs to take him out and make him pay for what he's doing. Since he is doing the exact same thing that Manning is and you all hate what Manning has done...just simply run the offense.

Belichick wasn't loved by Cleveland fans during his stint as the Browns HC. Looks like those feelings are shared by Bill.

Because they can.

I'm of the "if you don't like it, then stop me" persuasion.

Double standard possibly because it hurts more when it's against us.... though I had the same mentality. It was painful to watch the Indy game a while back, but if the TEXANS can't do anything about it, adjust their play, or change their attitude - why should Manning pull back?

Exactly...they're all out there for the same reason- compete for a championship and play the best they can. Why punish or get after someone for doing exactly that?

I just checked and the Patriots didn't even score in the 4th quarter. They weren't running it up. The Browns are just miserable. They gave up 50 to the Bengals.
oh but they tried. you guys got mad when manning scored 7 in the 4th, so appearantly its not how much you score

Manning stayed in the game for 4 more drives: Punt, Int, Int, TD. He got the worse part out of it. But he tried to run it up even more.

And it doesn't matter if you score. The intention is what counts and what shows: Style or not.

Manning has NO style, as everyone could see. Manning isn't a player that should be admired for his character on the field. And nobody doing something similar should be held in high regard. What you can do isn't what you should do. Period.

BTW Brady was replaced in the 3rd Q by Rohan Davey, C. Dillon by Cobbs and Faulk. No further points in the 4th. The last score wasn't a deep pass but badly defended and went for a 44 y score.

Don't try to distract the Colts fans with facts, you'll just confuse them further!

in the end, only the people on this board (and dunta robinson) see manning as this classless person that you try to pass him off as. and because of that, no one is gonna feel bad for your defense not doing its job besides you guys.

and that is what it comes down to in the end, do your job, stop getting burned for 70 yard touchdowns BY A TIGHT END, and you wont have this problem

so keep trying to convince yourselves that manning is a classless shell of a man, and the rest of the world will continue to not care

and if you want to keep whining that the colts kept manning in, why dont you point the finger at your coach keeping carr in.

maybe if you saw the stats, youd see the colts let up 24 points in one qtr today to the titans, so honestly tell me that a lead is safe with dave carr and andre johnson in the game, when billy volek and drew bennet put 24 on the colts in 1 qtr

Yep, it's ONLY us Texans fans.... You might try a google search sometime to see how far off-base some assumptions can be.

Here's just a few....(no doubt Dunta posing as a reporter)

MSNBC - Colts say they weren't running up score
Tuesday Morning Quarterback (Humorous)
Dungy defends Colts play
Football Outsiders discussion

And the BIG winner...from...GASP!....An Indy newspapers' own forums....no doubt infected by heathen Texans fans... Classless Colts

Ummm...OK......the Texans were playing catch-up and the Colts had a 35-point lead. Is that what passes muster for an apples-to-apples comparison in a Colts forum?

Well, probably you've missed the last weeks of reports and sport columns in the newspapers and TV. But most people i know have heard about Manning breaking the record with less style and class than anybody. If you can't believe it go to the Lions board or.. or.. .

It's quite unbelievable to me that sucess should excuse everything ,

... like bad style. Of course he will break the record of Marino and do it rightfully and deserving, earned by his vision and skill. It don't have any problems to acknowledge his mastery of the QB position. But he's not in need for garbage TD's, isn't he? Isn't he presenting himself as the nice guy, fair sportsman and likeable guy every mom wants for her daughter? What kind of disgusting illusion made up for the adverstiments! His contract and this season shows the wood of which Manning is made of.

yeah, if you do google searches for how classless manning is, youll find something. but like i said, you conspiracy theorist will use your google searches to prove your points, and everyone else will just say "wow, manning is a great qb" no one is gonna care what happened to houston in week 9, so why are you torturing yourselves with this stuff?

and if you want a true display of class, look at what brett did last night. he took himself out of the game (with much more on the line than carr) when he did that, he signified the game was over, and mcnabb left the game as well. pulling carr would have signaled the game was over

Manning is a great QB. He should shatter the TD record. I don't have a problem with them scoring in the 4th against us. After seeing the Colts come back from 21 down with 2 minutes to go against the Bucs, I don't think any lead is "safe". Put the dagger in and keep twisting. If the defense "gives up" then players need to start getting fired anyways.
