Who will fall in the first and second rounds?

What prospects in this years draft do you guys/gals think will fall unexpectedly to the beginning of the 2nd and 3rd rounds? I know that it happens every year and teams are able to secure talent that wasn't thought available. I am putting together a mock and believe the three picks (33, 65-66) the Texans have in these rounds are the most important element of their 2006 draft plan.

Please, please, please, keep all Reggie/VY talk somewhere else.

thanks--

I think some possible drops from RD1 to RD2 could be Kiwanaku DE,B.Carpenter OLB,and Mangold C,from 2-3 Jean-Giles OG, Colledge OT,Joseph OG, Hagan WR, Allen S.:twocents:

Could easily slip to #33:

E. Winston
N. Mangold
K. Simpson
J. Joseph
D. Whitner
S. Moss
Kiwi

Could easily slip to #65-66:

D. Joseph
D. Colledge
J. Allen
F. Mauta
M. Stovall
O. Jacobs
A. Fasno
R. Edwards

E. Winston - I hope you're right, but I think he'll go in 1st
N. Mangold - Again, I'd love to have his attitude on team, but NE, SEA or PITT may scoop him up
K. Simpson - His wonderlic score was terrible, he might slide
J. Joseph - Believe his stock is rising and 1st rd is probably gonna happen
D. Whitner - agree
S. Moss - agree, size hurts him
Kiwi - slipped significantly at Sr. Bowl...you may be right on this one also

Could easily slip to #65-66:

D. Joseph - Best guard in draft (I hope so...he'd be super 3rd pick!)
D. Colledge
J. Allen
F. Mauta
M. Stovall
O. Jacobs
A. Fasno - If we could get him, Joseph or Colledge with 3rd picks I'd be happy
R. Edwards

The great thing about the draft is that there is always someone who slips out of the previous round that everyone can't believe is still there. Having the top picks in each round should be really fun this year.

how about abdul hodge in round three, omar jacobs will be there in round three, kiwi i still think will be drafted in round one due to hali's poor pro day workout, the closer we get to the draft the more i think mangold and winston will not fall to round two...what about linebackers ryans and howard at one point everyone thought they would be 1st rounders and now they're stuck in round two probably...and rinally what about the steady fall of rodique wright from UT...i saw one mock draft that had him going to us in round 4!!!

Hopefully Winston or Justice to 33, but for sure one of the top secondary prospects (simpson, cromartie, allen, joseph are my hopes)

and to our third round prolly cedric griffin (who is my favorite for one of our 3rd rounders), prolly jon scott/ trueblood, maybe colledge, hopefully hodge, stovall

E. Winston I doubt it but maybe, would be my top choice at #33 if he does fall
N. Mangold A little more likely than Winston to fall, but I still doubt it, he would be my next choice here
K. Simpson I expect him to be available at #33, I wouldn't really consider it much of an unexpected fall for him to be there
J. Joseph A month ago I thought he'd be there at #65, now I don't know if he'll be there at #33, if he is he's my top choice after Winston and Mangold
D. Whitner Between he, Bullocks, Bing, and Simpson at least two should fall and would be decent options, but I'd look at CB and OT before FS
S. Moss Could fall, not sure I'd take him at #33 as I think we can get a WR that would better fit our needs later in the draft and could better use this pick
Kiwi Doubt he falls and I doubt we'd take him at #33 unless all the top OT, CB, and maybe FS are gone

Could easily slip to #65-66:

D. Joseph I expect him to likely be there at #65, I wouldn't consider it much of a fall
D. Colledge I think he'll go in the 2nd, but I'd definitely look at him at #65 if he's there and we don't get an OT earlier in the draft
J. Allen He could go in the 1st or fall to the mid-3rd with injury concerns and a little uncertainty about his skill with his lack of recent playing time
F. Mauta I would be shocked if he is taken before #65 and I wouldn't take him here, he'd be my 2nd-3rd option for an OG even at #97
M. Stovall Could fall, would definitely be an option for us at #65
O. Jacobs I think he'll be the 4th QB gone and will go in the early-mid 2nd, he's my darkhorse in this draft to end up being a star, not sure we'd look at him at #65
A. Fasno I'd be shocked if Fasano goes before #65, I wouldn't look at him in the 1st day after signing Putzier, maybe him or Day, Klopf, or a few others on the 2nd day
R. Edwards I'd be shocked if he goes before #65, and I wouldn't take him there. He, Adeyanju, and a few others would be an option in the 4th or 5th

I simplified my job and just added my comments on your list.

''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''65''''''''''''''''- daniel bullocks, davin joseph, colledge, stovall

I never thought Richard Marshall would be a first-day pick coming out as a junior, although the Patriots might jump the gun on him. Belichick apparently likes Pat Hill-coached athletes. I see Marshall maybe dropping to the 4th round but my money would be on the 3rd round, to the Pats - where he could re-unite with his former partner in crime James Sanders, who was a better college player than Marshall (albeit at safety) and lasted until the 4th round before being picked by guess who, that's right-Belichick, who also took Pat Hill's Logan Mankins in the 1st round.

I don't see Bing nor Big Jon Scott slipping past the 2nd either but some of the people you mentioned are sure to fall, simply because there's such value in the first day.

Other than Bing and maybe Marshall, I expect all of those guys to fall to the rounds you have them slipping to and would not be surprised if those happen.
