Who stayed and who went?

Hey guys, now that Rookie Camp is over, does anybody know who stayed and who went? Particularly, of those UDFA's invited to attend, who was offered a contract?

I actually was wondering if there were any vets that showed up and participated. You know guys that could use the practice time like Kendrick Sterling, Sloan Thomas or any other person who is trying to get to the know the system better.

Yeah I know but more work couldn't hurt I thought. If they are like I am with my job, hey I wont go until I have to. Ha Ha Ha.

The rookies are in camp to learn the basics and to get a few reps that they won't get when the Vets come in. The Vets don't need to (and shouldn't) be here now.

I believe vets aren't even allowed to participate if they want to. That would open the door to a bunch of "mandatory voluntary" participation.

I thought P-Buc could have benefited from the rookie camp. Learning more of the 3-4 scheme and how the Texans will atack this year. Vets are allowed to attend, but in no way mandatory.

After watching some of the games last year, everyone should be going over the basics. Anyone up for a little form tackling??

There will be a mini-camp for that. Rookie camp is not much more than orientation and showing the rookies how we conduct drills and practice.

Oh Really, Rookie mini-camps are just for rookies.
Well they need to rename that camp then, because it's a little misleading. :brickwall

Any word on who was ofered a contract or not?
I don't see anything on the main site.

Now, three days into the 2005 rookie mini-camp, :) the coaches and scouts can breathe a little easier. The Texans’ six draft picks and 11 college free agents have been impressive in practices and in the meeting room. In fact, the players have left such an impression that head coach Dom Capers thinks that this is among the Texans’ best rookie classes yet...

...In a few weeks, the players will return for the Texans’ offseason coaching sessions. Another mini-camp with the entire team follows that in June. While the rookies may still feel like big fish in a small pond, their perspective should change once they’re thrown in with the veterans. Nevertheless, after such a strong showing this weekend, many of the rookies are ready for the challenge.
