Who Next!?

cadahnic

Rookie
Jamal Brimmer, Earnest Shazor, Chris Kemeaotu, Antaj Hawthorne, Ben Wilkerson, Matt Kieft, and CJ Moseley are still around. Who do we want next.

Any of these guys I will be pleased with.

I really want Shazor. I've watched him play throughout his college career and watched his highlights from HS. I think he would have a great chance to play some LB for us. Hes got the frame to put on 20-30 pounds of muscle. I also think he has got to be mad about slipping this far down from what looked like a 2nd round lock not too long ago.

I would be pleased with any of those guys...Is Jason Brown from North Carolina still available?

Actually....I say trade Ragone to Green Bay for their consecutive 4th rounders. GB gets insurance for when Rodgers busts, we got MacP and Hawthorne!

They could just MacP for themselves. It sounds like better insurance than our Ragone/Banks/Symons trio. Carr is the franchise right now. OL should be on the map.

We wont get him but I really want Darren Sproles.. He is going to be a HUGE sleeper.

I woulda much rather had Sproles (or Fason) than Morency. Isn't Morency ALREADY the oldest back on the team now?? He's 25...

He's a few months younger than J. Wells and a few months older than Dom Davis...

Where/When did Donte Nicholson go?

I'm not really concerned about Morency's age. He was playing outfielder in the minors, not as if he was running the ball the past 6-7 years in college. Most RBs tend to avg around 4-5 years in the league I think so at 30 or so if he's still here and being productive then age really doesn't matter.

Meh, I guess...but both of those guys have 2+ years in the NFL...I understand taking a PROJECT young player...but taking a player OLDER than your starter and one of your backups....shrug.

I know, I was just relaying the facts...I would rather have taken Barber or Fason, but oh well, Morency is the pick...

He hasn't been taken yet...

Wow..I really thought he was one of the top S prospects - Are there some character issues or some other deal I don't know about? Wouldn't mind picking him up in the 5th to be groomed for Coleman's job.

Nicholson is more of a SS than a FS...He's good in run support, but the knock on him is that he tries too hard to make a big hit and sometimes whiffs, and that he's not very good in man coverage...Personally, I'd rather have Gerald Sensabaugh from North Carolina...

Yea, I went looking around for a profile and found the same thing. I still think we look at an athletic FS before the day is over.

I want one of these players:

Lance Mitchell ILB Oklahoma
Michael Munoz T Tennessee
Ben Wilkerson C LSU
Ernest Shazor SS/LB Michigan
Brandon Browner CB/FS Oregon State
Anttaj Hawthorne DT Wisconsin
Rian Wallace ILB Temple
Jovan Haynes DE Vanderbilt
C.J. Mosley DT Missouri

OG Scott Young from BYU is still available...he is the one that lifted the 225 lb bar over 40 times at the combine
