I was the owner of both the Bengals and the Bills. Since the Bills had no 1st round pick this year I was forced to trade up in the 2nd round to be sure to get the player they needed with their only 1st day pick.
Bills:
2nd Round: OG Logan Mankins Fresno State
The Bengals had 4 first day picks after trading with the Bills, and hence I was able to strengthen their defense up the middle. Since the run defense wasn't good last year these picks should go along way to making the Bengals a contender in the AFC North.

I'd have to say that I think Mistril's Rams had the best draft. They really adressed some glaring needs in their defense, and they got some players that should flourish on that fast track in St Louis.

With Wistrom gone, and Leonard Little's constant problems with the NFL it's a good idea to take a DE like Roth. He's an excellent pass rusher, and if he and Little are on the field at the same time it's going to spell trouble for any QB unlucky enough to face them. After DE, their next biggest need is to solidify their defense up the middle. Most would have looked to DT, but I think they have some good young guys inside that just need to stay healthy. To pick up a MLB like Crowder is an excellent choice. He'll give give them a good sized LB who's quick enough to fill the holes, and stuff the run. The Rams secondary, while good, is far from the best. They have solid players in Fisher and Butler, and with Archuletta moving to FS and Tinoisimoa moving to SS they need some depth at CB. Perkins provides that, and he also gives them a great returner who can't help but improve their special teams. A phase of their game that has been terrible under Mike Martz. With his 3rd second round pick he picked up a tall quick WR that will only increase the depth of an already great WR group. It seems that Martz offense demands WRs like most 3-4 defenses demand LBs. He'll have another gem in Brown.
I think the Texans and the Cardinals finish in a close second and third respectively. The Texans adressed their biggest needs, and picked up value players. The Cardinals also did a great job of picking players that fit their needs according to priority. Great job all around by all the GMs.

First, I thought everyone did a great job in this draft. None of these picks looked like "cookie cutter" picks off of an internet site. That said, I'll mention of few of the would-be GMs who made me go 
during the draft.

It's true I picked a lot of defense, but the Saints were ranked 32 overall for a reason last season (they have some crummy, old, slow players.) Add to that fact they have Brooks at QB, Duece at RB, and Joe Horn/Donte Stallworth at WR and their offense clearly isn't the real problem. Not to mention I think this draft is much, much stronger on the defensive side, which might just save Haslett his job like Lucky said.
Throughout the draft I wanted to trade down, but I am still happy with the players I got. If I obtained additional picks it would have just been a bonus, but I am more concerned with getting players I really like than saying "Well, I turned 3 picks into 5 picks" and getting a bunch of guys I don't feel that good about (not accusing anyone of doing that).
With Rogers, they get a fast, physical CB that, being in the SEC, played against some of the top WRs/offenses in the NCAA and has been consistent.
Blackstock - It's said he needs some work stopping the run, but this guy has the potential to really give offensive lines problems. This is a place I would have liked to trade down some but I really didn't want some other team snapping up the LB I wanted.
Brimmer - This guy is kind of confusing. For someone that was so highly touted last season, he really seems to have dropped off some. My target here was actually Nicholson, but after Fiddy drafted him one pick ahead, Brimmer looked like the best combination of talent and need available. He can hit like a truck and will hopefully run better than his critics claim he does to adjust to more coverage.
