I'm in the win-win-win category, too.
No matter what we do, it'll be an upgrade over the 2005 Texans.

Jack Bauer said:To be fair, his improvement did not come over three years. It came this year and it came as a result of changing the offense to fit Vince. Despite what Vince says, the UT offense is NOT Indy Colts-Lite.
BTW, I am in the W3 crowd!
thunderkyss said:Either way...... you're not telling me you'd be happy if David Carr could've convinced Dom to let him play?? to changet he offense to fit him??
LBC_Justin said:I'll give you that VY is an amazing athelete. But in College his stats were not even better than David Carrs. (Let alone is he a "once in a life time talent" that others have claimed him to be.)
David Carr's Senior Year Stats

42 Touchdowns
9 Interceptions

Vince Young Senior Year Stats

Has nothing to do with Vince Young. The statement referncing Vince Young was to point to one of his accomplishments that exemplifies his ability to work with others.
David's inability to convince his coach that David could save Dom's job is something else to look at. 6 games into the season, we knew Dom was going to be fired. How hard would it be for David to say, coach, if you allow us to do this, or that, we can win you some games, and save your job. Then he can come out and play like he did the first half of the St Louis game(which every one says is an example of what David could do when the reigns are relaxed. Then they turn right around, and say our offensive line isn't capable of giving David time to make sound decisions.). Then we Wouldn't have come off a 2-14 season, we wouldn't have the 1st pick in the Draft, and we wouldn't be talking about replacing David Carr. There are only two reasons why this didn't happen. David couldn't(in which case, we need to let him go) or David wouldn't(in which case, we need to let him go)
