What's wrong with Reche Caldwell's eyes and other interesting observations

gtexan02

Working?
Did anyone else see Caldwell's eyes? Whats the deal with those? how come he couldn't see the ball out there?

By the way, whats the "dirt" like substance that comes off the field when its an indoor stadium?

yea, his eyes were kinda strange. The dirt like substance you saw was actually tiny pieces of rubber that are placed in the new field turf.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe I should ask him if he can see who will be the next President of the United States? Or maybe who will win the Super Bowl in two weeks?

They put a mixture of sand on those state of the art turf fields, just another step in making it more like grass. I happen to like the new field turf, but apparantly, I have the short straw when it comes to that subject.

Very noticeable difference:

I know at the field turf at my old high school, it's little rubber pebble looking things that come up. I don't know if they use ground up tires in professional football stadiums, but that's what they used at my high school one. It's pretty neat.

He was on some hard drugs. I don't mean it as a joke or a silly observation. There is no doubt about it.

per wikipedia:

Donald Reche Caldwell, Jr. (born March 28, 1979 in Tampa, Florida) is an American football player who currently plays wide receiver on the New England Patriots. He is the older brother of current Florida Gators receiver Andre Caldwell. His nickname is "Headlights" Caldwell, for his rather large eyes (a trait noted by broadcasters John Madden and Al Michaels, and a trait he shares with his brother).
