25 is ugly...

I would love to see Bush get to wear 5. But if I had to put money on it, I would guess it's going to be 25. Although 33 doesn't look that bad...a little Tony Dorsett-esque.

Dang, i think that #20 looked pretty darn good. I still like 22 also so i vote for 20 or 22.:twocents:
(the 5 still seems right though)

34 also looks sweet on second thought. ok bye.

I like the looks of 22 and still like 25. Gotta love the magic of photoshop.

When did he play?

Good point, but believe it or not he did play a little...although it was mostly way back when (speaking of jersey numbers) Dave Ragone still wore #4 instead of his current #15.

i think he will go with 25, seeing how hes been 5 since high school, and 25 has the number 5 in it

so 25 it is

24 and 27 aren't real common for RBs. As silly as it is to debate this issue, I would guess 25 since it is the lowest possible number with a 5 in it and 5x5 = 25.

5x5=25.
Now that's great logic!!!!!!!!!

What if he was listed as an emergency QB in addition in RB, WR?

My question is how do you determine what 'actual' position he'll be? Maybe they could petition the league based on his multiple slots?

Just brainstorming....

I like #20, it looks good and people will automatically make a connection to Barry Sanders so I'd like the extra hype for him.

25 is alright and I think is the most likely but my top two choices are #20 and #33 for some reason

I figure since WRs can take non 80s numbers, then running backs can too, and with the contract he's gonna get I don't think he'll have any qualms about coughing up the extra dough for #5. He's had it since highschool and wrecked in it ever since, why stop now? Besides, scat backs look better in small numbers...

Only Kickers and QB's can wear between 1-18 it's an NFL rule. I like him in either 25 or 22. Those just seem to fit

Anybody notice the similarities between the Texan jerseys and the USC jerseys with the shoulder stripes?

Something similar may happen here is the implication. I'd like to see him in 5 as well since it will be pretty unique for Houston like the 34. Bagwell and Bush.

Oh no... then he'll be destined to play great in the regular season and choke in the playoffs. Please don't associate him with Bagwell.

23, because he will be the michael jordan of football. ahaha

but realistically, i see him taking number 25.

After a 2-14 season, choking in the playoffs would be pretty sweet!:)

PUT REGGIE IN A #8 JERSEY PLEASE...no one else is doing anything with that number right now!

I'm pretty sure the cleaners are still trying to get the grass stains out.:brickwall

So somebody IS doing something with it.

As far as Reggies number. He should just wear #37 to show support for the guy who will be starting.

-.245 career playoff BA, including a career low .148 and .176 in my first two appearances in the playoffs.
-.433 career playoff on base percentage.
-has played in one World Series with current team.
-my team lost the first five playoff series during my tenure there.

who am i?

after you figure it out, you'll why players can be considered great despite misfortunes in the playoffs. jeff bagwell and craig biggio are 1 and 1a in my opinion as the greatest astros of all time. bagwell belongs in the same breath of all-time houston greats with hakeem, earl, and carl lewis. i also guess you forget about the two HR's that he hit in the 2004 NLDS that helped the astros to win their first ever playoff series.

if reggie bush has (football wise) the same kind of career jeff bagwell has had, then Houston will be very lucky.

I seem to remember this question getting brought up somewhere on the forum but it never really got officially adressed.

So. what should it be? Personally i am leaning toward something in the twenties b/c numbers in the 40's just seem like the belong to bigger backs or FBs. So that leaves the 20's and 30's. I heard the idea of taking #34 from morency to keep the tradition of great 34's going and that doesn't sound too bad. Then again we could go smaller and say 22 or 25. 22 for Emmit (my pick) or 25 b/c he wore 5 in college. There is also 35 and that would be acceptable as well.

The decision is yours.....well at least untill he actually decides....and even if we draft him....either way i want your opinions, so bring them on.
I reckon he'll wear something with a 5 in as he cant have the #5....my money is on 25.
I'd like 35 as my mum and dad were born in 1935 or 24 as thats the date of my t'other halfs birthday.:yahoo:

ON my Madden I have him as #34. Of course I also have him @ 6' & 220 pounds, built like a brick ******house.

I always left him in his college number and size. I traded him everytime I drafted him. He always disapointed me...and that makes me a saaaad panda.

What number do tyou think he will wear after coming to Houston? I look at him wearing one of the following: #21, like his buddy Tomlinson. #25 to include his college and high school number. #28 just because he will look to smooth in that number! I'm so excited, reggie got me doing 24 reps in the weight room...............................AT 225LBS!:redtowel:
