What is up with the empty seats?

Who are you to come in here telling people how to be a fan? Is a person who can't afford to go to a game, but look at every game on TV, go to player appearances, listen to every radio interview less than a fan than you?

A person who goes to the game, sits and watches instead of standing throughout the game is less of a fan than you?

A person who displays his fandom in a different way does not need to be called out? This crap goes on waaaay too much. Not just here, just in general. Just because you want to scream and yell and stand doesn't mean everyone has to do the same. Different strokes and all that. If TC or someone else wants to look at formations, look at who is playing hurt, look at reactions from the coaching staff, while you are high-fiving everyone in the section, that is her and everyone else's choice. Plenty of times at games where I have seen "fans" are so busy proving they are "real fans" by their audible level and beer intake miss the entire game.

I can gurantee you McNair isn't jumping up and down screaming at everyone in his box to "Get Loud", so I guess that makes him less of a fan too in your book. You are a certain type of fan, let others do their thing as well without try to call them out.

Back to the point of the topic, the honeymoon with the team is starting to end and you are seeing it in the attendance of the season ticket holders and number/price of tickets on stubhub and TA.com Even a win like last week didn't really excite me after the team played so poorly all game. I saw a last second touchdown from #8 before, but that one was a QB leap at the goal line. Until this team can make that next step from mediocrity into being good I think you will continue to see masses of people getting in the stadium late, leaving early, not showing up at all, selling tickets.

should I put a sarcasm warning in my trash talk.... I wasnt being serious I am stoked that I am going to a game and was looking forward to showing you Houston fans how crazy us fans from Sa can be... I am not being serious...tounge in cheek

Yall just need to make some noise...get in the seats and make some noise...cmon lets get fired up.. yeah!!!

Sadly, with the price of sideline seats, I think the sides will always be generally lame, with a few fans scattered about trying to fight the good fight.

Maybe it'll change after a trip or two to the playoffs.

Actually, there have been some moments where it has been rocking--Denver, New Orleans come to mind. They just have a hard time, when the team is struggling, which in my mind is when the team needs the fans the most.
