I already liked the red jerseys, so all red looked pretty bada**. Plus, they won so I guess that makes them even better. :texflag:

The whole atmosphere looked good on TV. NFL Network has the best theme music and they had some great shots of Houston.

I liked them. I like the red jersey with white pants better, but this combo was cool too. When we do battle red is it usually blue helmets, red jersey, blue pants or blue, red, and white pants though? I can't remember...

Eh, it was different. I like the red jerseys with blue pants at this time though. But voted to screw it though.

I checked off 'screw it they won' because screw it, they won. In the end I could have done without the all red look. I thought I'd get used to it but it never really happened. It looks too HS/college for my taste. Thing is, now they've won in convincing fashion in those things so what the hell do I care if they wear them again?

I voted that I liked it but to be more specific I don't really care all that much. The Texans spend way too much time planning color coordinated "theme days" and should just put on their uniforms ("home" and "away" on the appropriate game days with an alternate thrown in now and again) and play football.

Heck we only have..what..2 battle red days?

I dont think they spend way too much time on it..I think its a great tradition. The fans get fired up for it and so far we have a great record on Battle Red day...which makes it more exciting.

The first thing I do when the schedules come out is see when the battle red days are.

i love it.. i like it when the unis and pants match.. like the deep steel blue days and the liberty white.. i loved the all red though... i wish they were are primary

I like the all red look - pretty snazzy. But they can wear purple polka dots for all I care if they keep winning.:texflag:

Get used to seeing them because every highlight reel that Super Mario is on leading up to the Prow Bowl will be comprised of this game in Battle Red. That is only because ESPN didn't keep any other tape of our games unless they were highlights for the other team

I always liked the BR jersey's, but thought the pants were a little too much. Screw it though, they won and if that's another good luck charm we have found, then I say they wear them all of the time. lol

Congrats on winning the game!!!

I voted "disliked" Call me old-fashioned-but they are just too flashy.

Reminds me of those old disco pants on MTV videos back in the 80's.

I prefer the blues, or maybe rock, or country, or jazz, anything but the REDS!!

Location: my living room a minute after first seeing the all red uniforms
Me: I don't know about these all-red pajamas.
My Dad: Huh?
Me: They look wierd... like those pajamas with the assflap.
My Dad: shut up, you'll like them if we win.

pause

Me: Yeah, probably.

scrap em' please. The red pants put it over the top. They should mix & match em' though. Battle Red day wear the red jerseys & white pants like they were doing before. & then when they wear the white jerseys wear the red pants. etc.

The blue on blue isn't that bad though.

I thought they were sweet. They could've went all red socks too. It's not something I'd want every game, but it was nice to see. :texflag:

I was a little upset that most of the fans weren't decked out in red. I mean, what was the deal? Was there not enough advertising? I don't watch the local news so I don't know if they mentioned anything about it. :pirate:

I don't care what they wear as long as they win!! BUT, the red on red seemed to hold some type of power over our guys, SOOOOO, with that in mind, BRING IT ON!!!! If it made them HOT, that's fine with me!:texflag:

They looked a lot better on my TV screen than they did on my computer screen yesterday. I liked the red pants. If they get a preformance like last night out of the guys when they put on the angry uniforms, they ain't going anywhere. They are here to stay. Believe anything, believe that.

I like the all-red uniform as an alternate, but I wouldn't want to see it every week. I like the uniforms the way they are.

I really disliked them before the game. Then the team made me forget about it. So I voted "Screw it, they won" :)

I like them but the white stipe on the pants was a little off. If it were a little more funkie like the Bronco's stripe I think it would have been a lot better. Also, I didn't like the blue helmets with it. If they could have gone with a white helmet or even a red helmet it would have looked better.

Overall they look pretty good.

I think it gets the players and fans pumped up. Im not sure I like that specific shade of red because it looks too much like the Falcons or something but it was nice to see the high level of energy that is always present on Battle Red day.

I agree, two battle red days are fine. We also have Steel Blue day and Liberty White day and probably next year Sneaky Lime Green Jock Strap day or something like that. Between the two red days and the blue and white days you have the Texans telling the fans what to wear on half of the home games.

if given the option i would have chosen "the worst uniform i have ever seen second only to the cincinnatti bengals."

but you didn't give me that as an option. so i chose "disliked".

i've said it a hundred times. all the great teams of the NFL have consistent uniforms. they don't change them up for special days. they just wear home and away and they win football games.

green bay packers
pittsburg steelers
dallas cowboys (allthough this is not as true for them)
chicago bears
indianapolis colts
these teams are the heart of the nfl and they are consistent symbols of winning football.

red leotards are not.

I LOVED them. Power red! I must have a really bad memory though because I seem to remember them all in red before, just no stripe or maybe a blue stripe down the pants. Think of the picture that is everwhere of Faggins standing on the wall after he jumped up after a touchdown. He was all red I believe looking into a sea of red fans.

Does anyone know which picture I am talking about.

I see your point.

Battle Red Rulez!

As far as the Cowboys Uniforms, they are the WORST! Now the new darker blue shirts with white that match the star on their helmets I like.

But those other white shirts with royal blue numbers and sea foam green pants that I suppose are supposed to be gray, with a white helment with a dark blue star on it. WHO put that scenario together? They must be colorblind.

Go Battlered!

If you want my opinion on fashion, no, I didn't care much for the all red. I thought they looked like a high school team.

But since I don't spend a boatload of Benjamins to watch fashion shows at Reliant, and instead do it to watch FOOTBALL, I couldn't care less what they wear as long as they play like they did last night.

LOL if those muff-huggas keep playing like they did against the Broncos they can wear pink polkadots if they want to!:d:

The red pants reminded me of college uniforms. I would have liked to see the red helmets - what happened there?

They gave out Battle Red T-Shirts at the gate as you entered for the game. Some people are just A$$eS I guess.

When I saw them in all red all I could think of was “Who let the Bengals on our field?” They were a little gaudy for me, but hey, if it works, they could wear chartreuse fringes on pink jerseys for all I care.

No, wait minute, I don’t wanna see that.
