What do you expect from Reggies pro day???

I expect that after Bush's pro-day, the VY lovers will be out in force, regardless of his performance.

Yeah I expect that too. Something like: "He only ran a 4.30 40? That's not #1 speed"

40 times in workouts are meaningless

Chad Johnson ran like a 4.5 for his workouts

Vince Young ran like a 4.5 in his workouts

I've never seen anyone catch either of those guys from behind on the field, that being said, Reggie is faster than both of them and I would expect something in the 4.3's

I agree alot with what "Huge" said though, none of this is a great indicator of how good someone is going to be at the next level

i think he has the ability to run under 4.3 but there have to be soo many things have to happen, plus he is around 208lbs so he has some extra weight. I expect him to run in the 4.3 range nothing faster than a 4.36. If he was able to crack into the 4.29 and lower range with the extra weight the draft discussions are over.

Bush's speed is kind of wierd. In one game, he's just blazing fast, yet on another, he's being caught from behind. In the Rose Bowl, he was nearly picked off by a Texas linebacker. Maybe that was Leinhart's fault, but hey, a Texas linebacker made a play on him. And on Bush's fumble in the 1st half, I bellieve he was chased down by someone. Yet on another play, he simply outruns Michael Huff to the endzone. I'm not really sure what to expect on his 40-time. Anything below a 4.4 is definitely not good though. His cone drills will be interesting as well.

What I really want to know is how well he can run routes. His hand are great I'm sure. Is this guy really the bes reciever in the draft as well? I'd sure like to find out. You rarely see someone who is the best player in the draft at 2 positions.

That Texas Linebacker was a converted safety that had legit 4.4 speed(played against him in high school) he only weighs 205lbs. So that comment does not say much.

So, RB is the fastest and best running back in football. No one should be able to cover him. I just don't get it. How can a mortal human cover Reggie?

Bush will run between 1.0 and 5.0. :thumbup Then all of the writers will be on Bush and Lienart jocks and a bunch of people on this site will get mad because they will feel that Young didn't get enough respect. Mark my word.

when do we get the results on how the pro day went?

I'm sure word of certain results will leak out quite quickly, I think NFL.com will have an article posted on it sometime tomorrow evening like they did with the UT pro day.

Bush will have a great pro day. I suspect Leinart will too. I don't think these guys will fold under pressure of NFL scouts there. They have played in huge games before. These guys are going in the top five no matter what.

This just in: Reggie Bush pulls out of USC's Pro Day.
Story by Hottoddie

Under the advisement of his agent, Bush will not participate in USC's Pro Day. When asked why, Bush replied, "As my agent said, why should I? I'm already the #1 overall pick & there's no where to go, but down."

When Bush's agent was asked why, he replied, "Well, I hear that Lendale White has been working out real hard, & I'm afraid that he might make my client look bad. And, besides, Reggie's already been annointed the #1 overall pick by the media & fans. What more does he have to prove?"

When Kubiak was asked about what he thought, he replied, "WTF? f$#a^ @r!*)% k#p^*$......" There were other things that he said, but we're not permitted to print them.

When Casserly was asked his opinion, he replied with, "What do I care? I'm out of here."

When Bob McNair was asked if he was disappointed......, Oh wait, that's right, he didn't show up for Bush's Pro Day. Hmmmm, wonder what that's saying? :stirpot:

You've got to have a little fun. To bad I didn't think to start a thread about this yesterday. :brickwall :D

When asked to elaborate, USC's Pro Day tearfully replied, "All I did was tell him I was ovulating".

LOL! I didn't even think about that. Maybe, that's the real reason he's pulling out. :D

ill give Bush a sub 4.4 40. 4.38

I wonder how Kubiaks, McNair's, and Casserly's dinner went with Bush last night.

In an article I posted in another thread, they didn't mention McNair being at the dinner. It was just Kubiak & Casserly. Hmmmmmm.........

I hope Reggie had a big 'ol 12 lb Steak with extra A1 sauce. Need some meat and muscle on that boy, before next season!
