And this is why I always look forward to your posts. Have some hope an injury to a Texans player isn't that bad? Well, stop right there, Cloak is going to set you straight and ground those hopes into a fine mist and scatter them along the Galveston island coastline. LOL. In all seriousness, I truly appreciate your insight here and your injury prognostications are things of legend around here. You are the expert here when it comes to those things, but I'll keep mainlining that Texans Kool-Aid until I lose hope for the season (usually around Week 11).
I think a big part of this "overhaul" with injured players/"has beens"/"never was-es" was culture reset. I think they are picking veterans that they know are grinders to surround the young guys on the roster and presumably the players they draft this year. We look at the players they signed and rightfully think they won't be anywhere as good as they were, but the Texans organization may be thinking they just need some leadership in that room. The way Nick talks about Juice leads me to believe that he doesn't think they've got the most out of him. We shall see who is correct.
