*Brock Purdy enters the room*Camp fodder for the most part. 7th round picks are 7th round picks. LOL

Of the three, I think Harris has the best chance of making the 53 man roster if he has a good camp. DT should be an easier position to grab than EDGE or OL.Another interesting note on Marcus Harris:
At the combine he did 27 bench press reps. But at his pro day he did 34 which would have tied for 1st among all DTs at the combine. Not sure why he didn’t eat his spinach at the combine but here is the video from his pro day. Also, draft scout has him weighing 306 rather than 286 listed in LZ’s profile.
I think edge has a naturally open spot behind Anderson, Hunter, and Barnett that will be competed forOf the three, I think Harris has the best chance of making the 53 man roster if he has a good camp. DT should be an easier position to grab than EDGE or OL.

He wrecked Troy Fautanu (first round tackle) with that move multiple times when they played against each other.Man Byrd has got some moves.
That spin to get outside leverage was nasty. Thats stuff thats just instinctual. Nobody taught hi
How quickly people forget how great Arian Foster was before he became a rabbit ...... he was by all accounts our biggest gem thus far.Everybody accidentally finds a gem in the rock pile now and then. Texans have done it before. Nothing says it won't happen again.
And says hi to Arian Foster.*Brock Purdy enters the room*
Harris is fighting Hinish for the last idl. spot. My money is on Harris.Barring multiple injuries, Henderson has no shot at making the 53. He'll either be cut outright or grab a spot on the PS.
The other two late picks have a shot at the 53, but they will need to really "show up and show out" - Thanks, Lovie.
I think Harris would have a little better shot as tackle needs talent/depth. That's the weak spot on the team. He's a little undersized, but that fits the mold here.
But I could see one or both squeezing into the last spot in their respective positions. Probably won't be active much this year but might see some action as the season moves along and as injuries mount and they continue to work and show improvement. Longer term? I see some upside, but the potential is just that. Let's see it on the field.
Hinish has been durable and dependable, playing in all 19 games last year and 15 games in 2022, while averaging about 30 snaps per game his two years with the Texans. But we need more production and he'll need to take it to the next level. So, I agree, Harris has a shot.Harris is fighting Hinish for the last idl. spot. My money is on Harris.
I liked that Hinish showed improvement last season. I hope he keeps improving, but I'm happy with whoever earns the spot.Hinish has been durable and dependable, playing in all 19 games last year and 15 games in 2022, while averaging about 30 snaps per game his two years with the Texans. Hinish is a good high motor depth piece. But he shouldn’t be the 3rd man in the rotation like he’s been since becoming a Texan. More of a back end roster bubble guy.Hinish has been durable and dependable, playing in all 19 games last year and 15 games in 2022, while averaging about 30 snaps per game his two years with the Texans. Year 2 for DMR. First year draft was great. This year we had 9 picks and got 9 players at 9 different positions. coincidence? Maybe. But it seemed thoughtful and deliberate. For me it’s going to be very interesting this year to watch these nine. If the Texans do hit on several of them especially after being lower in the draft pecking order then I’d say their system and their system for finding specific skill sets for each position will hopefully put them in sustainable association with the handful of elite teams in the NFL that build through the draft. We’ve never crossed those waters before.
