I've been saying it doesn't matter, win or lose, I'm enjoying watching these guys grow.I ain't predicting sh!t this time.![]()
You got it wrong last time so now I am encouraged...I ain't predicting sh!t this time.![]()
What the...
The Bucs have a bend, but don't break defense. They are 29th in the league in yards allowed/drive. But they've held offenses to 12 TDs vs 14 FGs. And the Bucs defense leads the league in % of drives ending in turnovers, 19.2%. They also lead the lead in lowest red zone percentage at 27.3%. The Texans have to play smart on offense. And they have thus far, leading the league in lowest % of drives ending in turnovers, 5.3%.The Bucs defense is physical but nothing special IMO.

As you said, the Bucs still have good WRs in Evans and Godwin. But this season's Mayfield doesn't like to hold on to the ball, with an average completion of 10.3 yards/reception. The Bucs rushing attack is almost non-existent. Still, RB Rachaad White is a threat as a receiver out of the backfield. And that has been a problem for the Texans defense recently, giving up an average of 52.4 receiving yards over the past 5 games.
In another tight, low scoring game, I like the Texans 19-17 over the Bucs.

This will be the first time I've seen the Bucs this season. I'm interested in what direction the Bucs plan to move to. Seems like they are still in a post Brady limbo.sounds like Lovie left his imprint.
Baker has played fairly well this yr. The Bucs should be leading their division but they aren't.This will be the first time I've seen the Bucs this season. I'm interested in what direction the Bucs plan to move to. Seems like they are still in a post Brady limbo.
Because they are giving up more points than they are scoring despite leading the league in turnover differentialBaker has played fairly well this yr. The Bucs should be leading their division but they aren't.
Their OL is very weak and their defense is a bend but dont break, so they stay on the field a lot.Because they are giving up more points than they are scoring despite leading the league in turnover differential
I have not seen the Texans "simply roll over" since Demeco took charge of the team.Well, with DW gone at least we know nobody will willingly have their booty plundered this weekend by the Bucs. I expect the Texans to put up a fight and not simply roll over.
In close games Ryans has depended on his defense to hold the other teams offense 3 times. In those games Ryans is 1-2.I have not seen the Texans "simply roll over" since Demeco took charge of the team.
So you think the team quit in those two losses ?In close games Ryans has depended on his defense to hold the other teams offense 3 times. In those games Ryans is 1-2.
No, but I don't think you can consistently count on the defense to win games for you.So you think the team quit in those two losses ?
Truth is against the Panthers Ryans had the choice of attempting a long FG or punting and the defense trying to hold them. The defense failed to keep Ryans faith. BTW, I would have done the same thing Ryans didThe defense wasn’t the problem in those three games, the anemic offense was to blame.

Has Fairbairn ever made a 58 yd FG?Truth is against the Panthers Ryans had the choice of attempting a long FG or punting and the defense trying to hold them. The defense failed to keep Ryans faith. BTW, I would have done the same thing Ryans did
He had a 61 yarder vs the Seahawks in 2021 as time expired in the 1st half.Has Fairbairn ever made a 58 yd FG?
Plus without the delay of game it would've been a 53 yd FG.Has Fairbairn ever made a 58 yd FG?
We come today in memory of former NFL player Michael Deiter who valiantly tried to defend his QB while lying on his back.
Keep this up and I may not have to worry about my future pension plans.![]()
Our secondary will have a difficult time keeping up with the combo WRs of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
BadBoy is likely to expand his Foundation list.
Deiter is the last Center on the roster.

True because if they score they will score quickly and there will still be time left on the clock as opposed to losing on the GW FG.…..nor transition to the “Prevent Defense”. I’d much rather see the defense get beat throwing caution to the wind while unmercifully coming after the QB.
Tampa Bay is 10th in rushing ypg allowed, Houston is 11thNo Pierce this Sunday. Fact is, I'm uncertain if that will actually help or hurt. The Texans, right now, are 26th in the league in rushing yards. Tampa Bay is last.

Vita Vea is a scary concern. Stroud will be sacked how many times? Over/Under 4 ? I'm saying over - he'll be sacked 5 times.Texans win this one by 3 pts.

He's questionable with a groin injury. If he plays, that should slow him down a bit.Vita Vea is a scary concern. Stroud will be sacked how many times? Over/Under 4 ? I'm saying over - he'll be sacked 5 times.
I haven't been convinced that Pierce has been the major problem in the running game. But everyone's theory gets a test this week.I know this is taboo. I wish no Ill will toward anyone. But I’m not all that upset that DP will miss the game. I know the Bucs have a good run defense, but this isn’t the steel curtain. A decent afternoon running the rock is not out of the question if you have the horses to do it. DP isn’t the guy right now. Let him sit.
