in the same game...When was the last time the Texans had 3 receivers with more than 100 yards?
It’ll be fun to watch once Woods returns, Metchie gets involved, and Hutchinson gets a little more time.Wow, CJ made those guys look like studs huh?
How many running yards?
…..much less a TE.When was the last time the Texans had 3 receivers with more than 100 yards?
I’m throwing a flag on the ducking refs for that stat. They threw more than a handful of bad flags. Tunsil on the other hand…..earned his as usual.Too many penalties 9-115 but what a game. I'm enjoying this seasnon more than I have for years.
What a ducking beautiful play!!!!!!
I was about to challenge/call you out in the game thread then and there. My emotions were all over the place. I was high one moment, very low the next moment and finally on cloud nine.
When CJ was missing on a few big plays, I called him out for calling out Slow. But in that second half he showed why he was right about the big time plays. The youngster showed up and showed out.
Defense had its moments but dang coach Cap has to stop being conservative in crunch time.
Noah Brown had himself a game. Better yet the entire WR core balled out.
Man Singletary had theee good runs, other than that the running game is terrible.
Dang these injuries loves our team. We just can’t get away from that monster.
Celebration time come on,
We’re going to have a party yeah!
Darn good win
I was conflicted from the start. I like Baker Mayfield & want him to succeed. I didn't want him to win this game, but... conflicted. My emotions were all over the place.
He started the game with happy feet. The whole 1st half. Looks like when they said, "No field goals, the games on you kid." He Texans'd up & kicked somea55When CJ was missing on a few big plays
We don't need no steenking keeker!
Still gotta start the second half.We don't need no steenking keeker!![]()

Hey Boss! Leave Santo alone! Was the able to see most of the game except the last drive. I saw when he spiked it but my boss was calling me to do something so I missed the ending. Congrats to both Stroud and the rookie RB who stepped in for Fairburn. Awesome![]()
When you're an S7, you don't care about an S2!S7ROUD is clutch. All the questions around his ability before he was drafted has been answered in one way or another.
I’d think never for the Texans and would think last HST team to do it was the R&S Oilers with Hill, Duncan, Jefferies and Givens, some combination of those four guys but definitely not a TE. 527yard KC game maybe? Need to look it up…..When was the last time the Texans had 3 receivers with more than 100 yards?
“No defense……no problem!!!” - CJ S7ROUD (probably)
Stafford and Stroud are the only rookies with over 400 passing yards and five passing touchdowns in a game in NFL history as Stafford had 422 in a 38-37 win against the Browns in Week 11 of the 2009 season. When removing the "as a rookie" context, Stroud still stands in rarefied air with his standout effort on Sunday. He joined Pro Football Hall of Famer Y.A. Tittle (Week 7 of the 1962 season vs. Washington) and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (Week 8 of the 2014 season vs. the Colts) as the only three players in NFL history with 470 or more passing yards, five passing touchdowns and no interceptions in a game. C.J. Stroud, take a bow for an absolute masterclass of a performance.
Do you remember all the stuff that was thrown around this board after that first pass INT in pre-season?Zero ints again...
'Nuff said.
He kinda had one but they don’t count them on two point conversions.Zero ints again...
'Nuff said.
