Week 9 Gameday: Texans at Jaguars

This is bull, i hate our coaches. I hate our offensive coordinator and our head coach. Our defensive coordinator is pitching a shutout but I might hate him later too.:brickwall

Great coverage by the secondary thus far thanks in part to a strong push up the middle, led by Walker. Texans lead at halftime and the Jags haven't scored a TD against the Texans in 2 1/2 games.

Did they suit up 7 or 8 lineman today??????
Texans Inactives: QB Dave Ragone (third QB), RB Domanick Davis, WR Jerome Mathis, T Victor Riley, G Fred Weary, G Zach Wiegert, TE Matt Murphy, DE Jerry Deloach

with the way they started blocking after hodge went down i dont blame them for running out the clock. the last couple of drives they have done nothing.

Mathis time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think Mathis OR Davis are playing today. Shame as I think we could lite these guys up if they were. Of course our coaching staff wouldn't pull the trigger to do it.

Maybe I missed it, what happened to Chester Pitts ?

Moved to guard due to injuries to Hodgdon and Washington requiring McKinney at center.

Everybody be honest now. If anyone had asked if you'd be happy with a lead at the half, what would you have said?

Me, I'm tickled as hell!

The Texans coaching staff have had a hard time making half time adjustments all year. Let's see what happens this time.

Didnt lose the 1Qtr, won the 2Qtr 7-0. Two down, two to go. Might not be pretty, but we're ahead.

I'm not able to watch the game in Fort Worth... Can someone let me know how the OLine is doing and how Carr is doing?

So no uninjured lineman and just 2 tight ends suited up? Injuries are taking a toll - they better not have any more lineman go down, or Bruener will have to play line and we'll have 1 TE formations the rest of the game.

With the exception of the MIN game, they've had a hard time making adjustments every game in History so far

I am pissed, pissed, pissed.
We had a minute and a quarter, what the heck were they thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just hate Capers even more and my dislike for Fangio grows...and Pendry is in my OUTTA HERE radar now.

Team is playing with heart and for keeps (go G Funk! Whoever pissed in his Cheerios needs a Kudo!). Walker is playing with a chip, I love it! Carr got sacked, but IN the pocket! Progress!

Halftime. I sure hope Capers and Co doesn't throw water on our boys' fire.......

I think Dom was actually right running the clock out before the half given our field position. The last thing we needed was a turnover and a cheap JAX TD before the half. Now if we were a better team and perhaps had better field position, then yes go for it. However right now we need to limit our chances to make mistakes. In this particular case i agree with Dom.

Why haven't gaffney caught the ball yet? Is he out the game too?
He's no longer the first or last read...and we have yet to throw the ball downfield once.

has anyone noticed much differance in playcalling sine cpendry took over? we seem to be getting more and more conservative every game!!!

The apple doesn't fall far from the Capers...er, tree.

Is this the best half of football that our franchise QB has had in the last 16 games?

104 yards passing, 1 TD, 2 Sacks, 0 Fumbles

I smell progress. Have him sign that extension during the half.

looked like they were opening it up a little. till the linemen went down. im sure carr will get sacked and have no protection in the second half. and no will notice how much better he was playing with a little protection.

14 passes/12 runs? Looks about the "perfect" ratio for a Dom Capers team.

Let's put some points on the board this drive! You can't keep expecting the D to pitch a shutout.
