Nah. I like what Taylor brings to the game. She’s a fan. She cheers rabidly along with the rest of us. Not a quiet smug one wearing sunglasses like Jack Nicholson at a Lakers game.

But yeah… the fix is on. The NFL didn’t call a referee this time. They called BOWLES and told him to -not- go for two.

Jack Nicholson was 100x the fan Taylor is. Jack had season tickets, went to almost all the games with various guests, even during bad years. I hate the Lakers, but while permitting the man was there supporting his team.

Taylor Swift is a NFL groupie.. if she broke up with Kelsey tomorrow she wouldn't be attending Chief games or any other NFL games.

I didn’t mean to take away from Nicholson’s fandom. He absolutely was a fan. He was different though.

And that’s fine with me. Groupie whatever. We get bandwagon fans just the same. It’s no water down my back. Fans gonna fan..

Doesn't look like a hip to me. Looks like he aggravated his ankle by losing his footing. Will feel it more today. But will probably receive conservative treatment for quick rehab (wrap with injections to return next game).

You know it really troubles me when some folks say these mean and hurtful things about my beloved Chiefs !

I lied C&D it does not trouble me a bit, I just like to tease & mess with the Chiefs-Haters. But what would profoundly trouble me would be the absolute knowledge that money is changing hands between gambling interests & NFL game officials.

Jawaan Taylor got away with false start in overtime

It doesn’t happen as much as it did in 2023, but it still happens too often. Tackles move a split second before the snap, and the officials don’t call a false start.

Some in league circles were buzzing today over the fact that Chiefs right tackle Jawaan Taylor got away with a false start in overtime, as the Chiefs faced second and five from the Tampa Bay six.

The play continued, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw a pass to tight end Travis Kelce for a four-yard gain. The Chiefs won the game on the next play with a walk-off overtime touchown.

The Chiefs instead should have been facing second and 10 from the Tampa Bay 11.

Some in league circles point to the failure to penalize Taylor as evidence that the league’s officiating function is worse than ever before. While it’s difficult to prove that without comprehensive access to historical and current internal NFL grading numbers, this characterization comes from people who have spent large chunks of their lives in the NFL.

A scandal is inevitable. Oversight is inevitable. And the NFL seems to care only about stuffing its pockets with as much gambling money as possible.
