Week 7 Gameday: Colts at Texans

Now let's see if they've adjusted to our stop Freeney strategy and take advantage of our middle.

Well, it's just killing us, I'm surprised at the way we're defending it. When we play Denver, we try and get our ends up the field on both ends to contain the QB. So far, we've been attacking inside for the run and leaving the bootlegging side completely open. I wouldn't be surprised to see our D-Line go to a more 'contain' D where they press up field first, and then worry about getting inside second...

carr needs to scramble around then throw the ball every once in a while. once he tucks it he never looks back downfield.

We have to start using some playaction to keep Indy honest. You can only run the ball so many times before they will force you to do something else...

We always (almost always?) bootleg to our right. Interestingly enough, on designed bootleg runs Carr calls the play as a hand-off to the RB. Only he and the offensive coordinator know he is keeping it. It really sells the fake, since the blockers think the RB is coming their way.

Hell if thats the case they need to keep those REDS on... :yahoo:

Teams are only allowed to wear alternate jersey's (like throwbacks, which we obviously don't have) twice a year.
