Week 6 Gameday: Texans at Seahawks

no effort on the tackle....

Orr makes a heck of a tackle, is excited... no effort to return the hype from his team mates....

no effort...

High school teams could run on us! Fangio sucks, as well as the rest of our defense (except Orr and Robinson). Unbelievably embarrassing!

A team couldn't make a bigger hole in the defense if you planned it. And those gaping holes are consistent - play after play. What is the defense thinking? That no one will notice a 15 yard gap in their line? This whole team is just self destructing and it is painful to watch.

At the very least Fangio better be gone, and I don't care what Dom said last week about no more coaches being fired. His time will come too, but at least get Fangio the heck out of here.

If Capers and Fangio aren't fired today, I'm hiring hit men. This team is lost, incompetent, I can't even think of enough words. It's damn embarrassing. Thank god we have a team that actually knows what it's doing (Astros) or else Houston would be the sports ****hole of America.

...the sweet feeling of shame. I'm really getting tired of this. Seems like every member of the Seahawks offense is covered in grease.

You can't tell me McNair is going to continue to allow this embarrassment to continue.
I hope not, make a statement Mr. McNair. Show these millionaire cry babies that nobody is safe and if they dont care, then you dont care if they get paid.

That was Seth Wand on camera - rumors of his demise greatly exaturated.
Looks like he was not suited up either.

Yep - our tackles have racked up more penalties today then he had all last year - and Pitts has a lot of TE help today,

He was in street clothes. I wish these announcers had had a clue who he was - the cameraman sure did.

This game looks like the old Varsity Cornhuskers taking on one of their opening season game division II patsies. Welcome to patsydom Texans.

Does that mean you're not totally happy with the Texans performance tonight ?

These announcers dont even know who the players on the field are. Thats probably a good thing though.

Lets be honest. Should we be expecting a rookie SS to be our main run stopper or our Lb's? That hole was astronomical in comparison to anything that DD has seen all night.

Exactly!

"Right now, we don't have heart," cornerback Dunta Robinson said after the Texans suffered their fifth consecutive defeat dating to last season. "That's me and everybody else."

Are the Texans playing tonight? I thought I was watching a recap of UT's blowout of Colorado. Are you sure its the Texans? They went 7-9 last year and are so expected to be playing much better this year... :brickwall

Good quote by Theisman, "Maybe they shouldn't be putting a uniform on." I think that goes for the entire team. They're running on us like we're not expecting it. They're up by 42 guys, they don't need to pass it anymore.

In my opinion, we have taken even more steps backwards today. This is the worst loss of the season.

Amen! I was even prepared for a loss - but not this.

But Dom will say it's about execution. But that depends on his meaning of execution. :deadhorse :goodnight :heh:

By the way I just noticed this really cool Astros smiley. Go Stros! :astros:

The sad thing is that the franchise is worse off than the night we snapped the ball against Dallas...

The texans may have gone 7-9 last year, but seeing how we have a underachieving head coach, and offensive coordinator thats more conserative than the conservative party and a coaching staff that probably couldn't coach a Texas 3A high school football team, I doubt the Texans will win more than one game this season. All that depends on IF they can actually beat the lowly Browns. I just can't figure out WTF they were thinking this off season by getting rid of the whole defense and bringing in Phillip Buchanan!!!!! They had one of the best defenses in the league and now they are dead last. I agree with some of the other posters on here, I HOPE THEY LOSE EVERY GAME THIS SEASON!!!!!!! Maybe, just maybe, McNair will wake up and FINALLY fire Capers.

42-10 on national television. 13 penalties for 95 yards (as of now, there's still time for more), and the "bright side" 3 more sacks on Carr bringing our season total to an even 30 (again, still time for more fun)

It's like they're trying to top the Oilers or something.

Don't forget the 321 rushing yards given up by the "defense", and I use that term loosely.

Well Charles can't be feeling to good tonight. McNair will NOT wait for the season to end to make a move. He knows that he is going to lose his fan base rapidly unless something dramatic is done. So it's either Charles or Dom and possibly both. The fans that actually know football realize at best we are a 2 win team. I'll deal with that, but not with either one of them leading the way.

My PSL and season tickets will be waiting Mr McNair and his thoughts.....

...and-if Capers stays the entire season-how do we get 2 wins? :pigfly:

It hurts so bad to suck so bad. I know we werent going to win this game since week one...but still, how can they go out and look that bad. Still only one td.

And this "defense" is supposed to be better than the one we gave away this off-season instead of going after linemen????????

I WAS going to go to the Ravens-Texans game in Baltimore, but I don't think I can spend that much money on watching a team that couldn't beat a college team.
