The product on-field for NFL as a whole is the worst I can remember at this point in the season. It is week 6. Are teams still “shaking off rust” or are they just bad sloppy football teams?
But Mills is the 32nd ranked QB.

Fields has no shot unless they Lamar Jackson the offense around him. NO consistency to stand and throw, but he is pretty athletic. Another franchise/coaching staff may take a chance on him when the Bears quit, but be committed to work with his skills versus against them. As a drop back QB, he is awful. No way to consistently move the ball with him in STD NFL offense.
I thing the changes in the CBA about practices in the offseason/TC with the reduction of 1 preseason game and less padded practice is biting the NFL in the a$$ this year. The really strong teams are still strong, but a lot more mediocrity.
