Week 4 in the NFL starts with big D

I don't care what they say on TV.. That's a **** call. The NFL is getting to the point where they are just going to count receipts at the end of games and decides who wins.

I can't watch it.. what's been going on, I heard Levis got hurt?
Miami’s offense looks like it was installed yesterday afternoon. Huntley looks like a guy fresh off his couch and defensively, guys are playing rather uninspired. They may be in full on quit mode by the time we get them in December.

Levi’s got “hurt” diving for a 1st down…but I think Callahan was just looking for a reason to bench him without a whole lot of drama.

Buck needs to drop the who had that on the bingo card..

Hell of a play call though, that's a wrinkle that will open up other plays later.

I hope Seattle scores here and will give us a game, but if they do, they'll still be chasing that one point.

That was a righteous call. Stupid move by Lockett
By the letter of the law they keep changing every off-season. They change crap every off season. Old school refs would allow players to compete in close games.. these new refs allow a chiefs db to tackle a receiver in the end zone.

Damn near a safety by Seattle at the two minute warning! Great save by Goff on a stupid play call

edit: call changed to safety 29- 42 Detroit ... 2:01 on clock

Players and the league "rule committee" need to meet in the middle. This is becoming a viewership issue. I'm not watching 18 weeks of flags.

I'm not saying there's an organized pro-Chiefs conspiracy among the refs. I just think they all like Mahomes, like Andy Reid, and when the time comes to make a call, they tend to err on the side of the Chiefs. I mentioned those 2 instances because they were so obvious. Same infraction, called differently in back to back games, and it just so happens, benefited the Chiefs both times. Far from being the only 2 calls that go their way at a key moment.
Mahomes is the new Brady

God'ell has to keep the Swifties viewing.

Wow! That's an incredible amount. I don't even know how to look that up without screening gamelogs.

I know there have been controversial calls that have gone the Chiefs way. Super Bowl LVII came down to a 3rd & 8 play where the Eagles were called for a defensive holding. The Chiefs were able to run down the clock, kick the FG, and the Eagles lost. But..it was a hold. Right in front of the side judge. If the refs don't call that, the narrative is that they're biased against the Chiefs.

Same with a play late in the AFC Championship game. Tie game and Mahomes is scrambling to the side for a 1st down. And a Bengal hits Mahomes out of bounds and gets the flag. The 15 yards makes the FG attempt very makeable, and the Chiefs move on. It was a late shove. He didn't have to do it. But he did and it made it easier for the Chiefs.

My take is, stop helping the Chiefs. These aren't phantom calls. Everyone saw them. Want to beat the Chiefs? Make them beat you and don't beat yourself.
Did you see the holding on the Chiefs OT's on the out of bounds hit. It's a big part of the reason the DE hit Mahomes out of bounds. He was frustrated. How about the do over 5th down play the Chiefs got earlier in the 4th qtr? SMH

Of course the most obvious call was the Rams going to the SB on an obvious blown call against the Saints in the NFC Championship game a few yrs ago. That was the Rams 3rd yr in L.A. (IRRC) and the NFL had a vested interest in the Rams making the SB. (New Stadium))
