I do. Pendry's offense and Palmer's offense ran the same plays but were night and day. The contrast was stark...and I didn't think (previously) Palmer was the big problem.....now it looks like he was one of the big problems...now we just have one fewer problems...but still have problems. We couldn't do much with Casserly's drafting and FA pickups today though...we have the same players.Hervoyel said:Carr got sacked seven times today if I'm not mistaken. That makes what? 20?
20 sacks and 24 points for the season. Does anyone really think things got better today?
Nope. The last sack you could MAYBE pin on him, but the previous one was entirely on the offensive line. Carr should have all day when the defense is in the prevent.welsh texan said:That said Carr single handedly wrecked Texans' chances by being sacked twice in a row.
AndreJ said:Cincy barely beat us and were 0-3, they haven't beaten anyone with any kind of credibilty...they might have the easiest schedule in the league so far.
Minnesota, chicago, houston and who else was it arizona? Hardly much competition.
believe me everyone's pissed about that. we are a really bad team right now. i just think the bungals have had a very easy schedule. and untill they beat a good team like the Steelers, they can shut up about superbowl talkbengalsown said:Why wouldn't we? 3 of the four teams who were 4-0 last season were the Patriots, Eagles, and the Jets.
Maybe instead of worrying about what Bengals fans are going to be talking about, you should be worrying about what the owner of the Texans is going to do about the coaches calling 5 yard pass plays over the middle with less than a minute left?
You did get ripped off on that call though![]()

Browns, Bears good teams thats funny. post that again so i can laugh some morebengalsown said:The Vikings don't have any credibility? We picked off a QB 5 times, who would have been the MVP last season if it weren't for the inability of the Texans to stop Peyton Manning from throwing TD's.
The Browns held the Colts to what, 13 points? Maybe 14?
The Bears have the best defense in the league. No credibility?
Houston has a great defense, and we beat them.
It's not like we started out against he Lions, Cardinals, Rams, and Saints.
Those teams suck![]()

and? that's not saying much.bengalsown said:They're much better than you are![]()
midknight said:carr went back to pass, arm got hit, arm moved forward.. ball hit lineman inthe back and fell to the ground. cincy fell on it, and refs ruled it a fumble. Replay comes in, they look at it.. many angles confirming incomplete pass.. ref comes out and says call on the field stands..
they still ruled it a fumble...
bull.. even the announcers couldn't believe it..

not denying that right now. they better figure out a way to win, or Andre Johnson will be going somewhere elsebengalsown said:They're much better than you are![]()

Joe Reardon: He walked 18.
Larry: New league record!
Joe Reardon: Struck out 18.
Larry: Another new league record! In addition he hit the sportswriter, the public address announcer, the bull mascot twice...
[Joe laughs]
Larry: Also new league records! But, Joe, this guy's got some serious stuff
Offcourse its Carrs fault its always Carr's fault.welsh texan said:I have never in my life seen such a poor refereeing decision in any sport, and dont forget that over here sports dont use video evidence!!!!
That said Carr single handedly wrecked Texans' chances by being sacked twice in a row.
Wolf said:To me calls happen for the good and bad all the time.. A team ought to be good enough to not let one play make a difference.
Vinny said:you can only beat the teams on your schedule. Why take anything away from them by knocking their schedule? They didn't make it. The Bengals are undefeated. Good job and good game.
Normally, I agree. I hate complaining about the refs. However, when a game is that close one play IS the difference. Especially when they have a chance to review a play that was OBVIOUSLY the wrong call. The refs pulled the rug out from us when we were driving and only needed a FG.Wolf said:To me calls happen for the good and bad all the time.. This game didn't come down to one call or one play. We scored one TD for cripes sakes. You can't win games like that too often.ledzeppelin269 said:A good team, yea, but when you are a mediocre (at best) it often comes down to one play, one call, etc.
Uhhhhhhh... so did the Bengals.Vinny said:We scored one TD for cripes sakes. You can't win games like that too often.

obviously you know far more about football than i do, but i really thought that when they ended up something like 4 and 41, carr should have got rid long before instead of going so far back, i'm going on what the commentators said as well as my own thoughts with that one.TexSon said:Nope. Well, Carr definitely has to work on his pocket presence... it's one of his bigger weaknesses. I just think when the defense is sending nearly everyone back in a prevent, the o-line should be able to give Carr some good time.welsh texan said:obviously you know far more about football than i do, but i really thought that when they ended up something like 4 and 41, carr should have got rid long before instead of going so far back, i'm going on what the commentators said as well as my own thoughts with that one.
This is likely to be the only texans game shown live over here this season, and i thought they looked far better than the highlights from previous weeks showed, Carr was picking out the right passes at times and the team made good progress up the field, it's just a shame that he gets sacked so bloody often, there is clearly a lot of work to be done on the o-line, and Carr needs to use the time he's given far better.
