Week 2 VS Raiders....Lets Predict ;)

More offense is needed from the Texans. Hope the Texans win, but this is what I'm feeling at this time:

Raiders 20
Texans 17

Hoping and praying that nobody else on the Texans' team gets injured.

Thankfully my week one prediction was wrong.

Week 2 defense needs to turn up the pressure on the rookie and clean up the run defense because McFadden could have a big day. I don't have high expectations of the offense with Fitzpatrick at QB so I'm going

Texans - 20

Radiators - 13

Frazzled Carr w/ no line
More magic than pick Patrick
RAC tweaks the DEF a notch to 10.1 (not 11 yet)
Foster has a mind blown Haiku before the game and rolls

Oak 13
Hou 17

Trap game.
Maybe I don't know the definition, but how can you have a trap game in week 2?
I like Crennel vs. rookie QB.
This is the key. I haven't had a chance to see the OAk-NYJ game, but I assume Ryan used a lot of pressure against Carr. I think Crennel would more likely play zone and force the rookie to go through his progressions rather than give him an easy hot read. I like Joseph and Manning to get picks in this game, with the Texans offense playing it safe (again). Texans 20-13.

RAC against a rookie QB is far and away the tell of the tape for this game. If the Texans perform like they did against Washington, minus the big plays, they are 1-1

Yeah I know we haven't won in a while but this giddiness is excessive. I didn't see all sorts of brilliant play calling. I saw 3 individuals on each side of the ball put in great days that carried one mediocre team over another. Now I will give credit that 2 players on D and 1 on O look like they made big steps forward so some coaching credit there even though 2 are 2nd year players who are supposed to have big jumps.

Even great special teams doesn't have days like that every week.

Is THIS the biggest game in the teams history? Just kidding but I know it's a matter of time before it's asked.

20-9 Texans.

Too bad Schaub isn't playing so we could make our predictions on the number of fetal positions...

I think it is.

Raider's team history. Those guys played a hard game... everything we're saying about our guys, they're saying about their guys. I know we don't think they are in the same class... but they're thinking the same about us. I think they're going to play it like their Super Bowl, their going to jump on us early & we're going to have to play from behind.

Which is fine, we'll get to see our run D play the run while expecting the run, not like last week. & we'll get to see if our QB can manage a come from behind victory without getting all flabberghasted.

I think the score is going to be high, special teams & defensive play getting the better of field position & some tough running on the goal line from both teams..... but it's going to be close.

27-23 Texans.

Allen's Raiders teams are 7-8 when scoring first but when the opponent scores first, they're 1-17. "We want the ball & we're going to score"

Interesting stat: Raiders' HC Dennis Allen is 0-8 on artificial surfaces.

It is too early to predict game two. :pinned: Ask me next week.

Texans over Raiders in a low scoring game.

I'm not sure what has some of y'all thinking we're going to score more than 20 points. Foster?

I don't think the Raiders are that good (though any given Sunday). And Fitz has played the Raiders well in the past. Plus another week together to gel.

I think both teams are going to score more than 20. I think our defenses are going to put us in scoring position, if they don't score themselves, fumbles recovered for TDs, pick 6es... that kind of stuff.

17 - 13
Raiders.
Our only TD comes from defense/special teams

Prove me wrong, Fitzy.
Make me a believer cause I ain't there yet.

Man i hate late games, watch the first game go into over time with it not being over until a field go as time expires. And we miss the first half. That is generally how it seems to go when we play at 3.

So Vegas picks us to win....??
I can never remember what the damned line means

Yup, you got it right. Vegas is favoring us, and the line going further that direction means the money going into Vegas is favoring us as well.

We are kings ... (when it comes to playing wash and oak, but I'll take it for now) ...

Texans- 20
Raiders 13

Carr is picked off twice and Fitz is picked of once.

Foster runs for 130 yds and a TD. AJ catches a TD. Defense has 3 sacks and applies constant pressure.
