Ravens Pro Bowl WR Flowers injures knee in win

Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers, a first-round pick in 2023 who was named to this season's Pro Bowl, left Baltimore's 35-10 victory over the Browns on Saturday after suffering a right knee injury in the first half of the regular-season finale.

Could be a huge blow to Ravens although they did clinch the AFCN

Really? With the pass rush the Steelers are going to bring? Even the mighty Joe Burrow is struggling. I'm less worried about the Steelers offense than I am the Bolts against our D, but I don't see the offense revving it up against either team.

Not bad for "struggling", still in 3rd quarter. Our offense will need to be better than they've been to do ANYTHING in the playoffs. Our D can make Wilson struggle more than Herbert, IMO. But whatever, I'm just happy it's not going to be the Ravens.

First? I'm not worried about the AFC Championship right now. Let's just get past the first round, and Pittsburgh right now is limping into the playoffs, losing their last 3 games and it looks like tonight will be their 4th straight loss.

They scored 19 points, think the fanbase would be complaining if the Texans only scored 19 points?
 
So the only way the seedlings change now would be if the Chargers lose, correct? In that the scenario Pittsburgh would move back up to 5? Or is 5 and 6 set now… and just waiting on the broncos / bengals for the 7?

Edit- didn’t realize Miami could still make the 7 as well.

Denver is in with a win or tie.
Miami is in with a win and Denver loss.
Cincy is in with a Denver loss and a Miami loss or tie.
None of those teams can do better than the 7th seed.

Chargers win or tie and they are the 5 seed coming to Houston.
Chargers lose and the Steelers are the 5 seed and will play the Texans.
 
I hate the fact that teams get to take a game off giving other teams an advantage… I know, “those other teams should have won a few other games” but it still sucks that the Bengals didn’t have a shot because the Chiefs mailed it in.

And the Bengals would have had a shot because the Fish suck and lost as well!

Chiefs mailing it in didn’t cost the Bengals a shot. Bengals had plenty of shots in weeks 1-3, 5, 8 and 10-13. Win any one of those and they’re in.

Everyone knows how the last game of the season works, especially for teams who have nothing to play for. You can’t leave your fate in other’s hands.

There is no “right” way to fix it…
I simply said I don’t like it! Just like I don’t like the rule when the offense fumbles it out of the end zone, the defense gets it.
That rule will never be changed, and teams resting players making it an advantage for the opposing team will never be fixed.
Just simply said, I don’t like it.

I don’t like it when my wife tells me she doesn’t want me to play golf on Saturdays….but I do it anyway. Teams will rest their players…don’t have to like it…
