Because Reeves is looking over everyone's shoulders, the Texans will pull together and win this game - that being easier than polishing a resume.

Texans 16
Arizona 12

I think you are right....but I see the score being higher than that.
Maybe
Texans 24
Arizona 21

I just want them to win so we don't get stuck with the first pick. An entire off-season of nothing but Reggie Bush would make me wretch.

They said on 610 about 30 minutes ago that the roof will be CLOSED.

I'm heading out to the game here in a few minutes. What a great day for football - do you think Reeves will have some input into the Texans' roof open/close procedures? We still haven't worked all the kinks out of that yet.

I'm outta here shortly as well but too hungover to tailgate :crying:

If the report was accurate and Reeves had input to close the roof in 50 weather, it will be the first of many wrong decisions.

I was joking - the joke may not have came through. I'm not saying Reeves had input; I'm sure he has lots of better things to do.

Wells starting....Dom is out for the game per Houston radio pre game show.

So maybe Morency gets a few more touches and they may try to feature AJ a little more? That might be two good things.

Morency got some work with the first team this week so I hope so as well.

I knew you were joking, I was just playing along.

Having said that, closing the roof is still a bad call. Keep it open in 90+ but to close it when it's 50 and beautiful.... Makes no sense.

That would definately be a good thing to see. I've been wanting to see him get 15 to 20 touches a game over the last games of the season so we get a feel for what we've got in him.

Good luck Texans I hope you sick the horns in the red bird.:fight: to the death or until the last sec ticks off the clock...

Cardinals 38 Texans 9

i love the texans but i aint going to hope for miracles like us having and offense to keep up with the Cardinals.

i'm off to see the sports bar.......the wonderful sports bar of austin........with directv..... :tv:

damn you FOX :loser

Wonder how many more times we'll see that throw today. Twice in the first 3 plays already.

We actually go for it on 4th and 1 and we hand it off to a guy lined up 7 yards back instead of a QB sneak? Pulling out all the stops today!

Gamble on 4th...no go. Showing a bit of nothing to lose mentality. I like it. Might actually get to see some of the young guys in order to evaluate them.

anyone stil think this oline is good? 4th and 1 and we can't get a yard. How many times have we seen that. Note: David Carr was not involved on that play

The DT over RG shifted left and was over McKinney, Carr didnt notice and that tackle blew up the play. That's the time to audible to the right.

Hmm. Looks like the coaching staff is feeling the pressure from Reeves? I was shocked to see the no-huddle and going for it on 4th down. Solid defense so far though.

The coaches are predictable. That's not on Carr if the running game can't get a yard. Please.

He has the ability to audible right. If he audibles and we go right, we get the first. Carr doesnt have the greatest football IQ.

he audibles right and they shift right. (see Baltimore) The fact is the oline can't get it done, we've seent that many times this year.

610am radio Texans Flagship reported (by Granato) that Carr is calling his own plays today ala Peyton Manning. That's why we came out in the no huddle. That sequence was on Carr.

Carr is blocking now? wow.

Heres our money guy....Damnit - Wells got the kickoff. Looks like they'll stay away from Mathis.
