Week 14 Gameday: Texans at Titans

Reggie Bush would have made that kick!! :sarcasm:

REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE

You lose hope, gain hope, only for something, someone on the Texans to SUCK it right out of you.

#1 pick in the draft here we come! After that debacle there is no doubt

Go Texans, but AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I would like to also blame this loss on George Bush. If he hadnt invaded Iraq, we would have won this game, hahaha. How pitiful....funny pitiful.

I didn't get to watch any of the game but did it appear any of these wild plays happened on purpose? reading the posts and following on gamecenter just about drove me nuts

I doubt it.

how about Mathis thought? almost taking it back on a squib
Yeah - I was wondering if anyone was gonna pick up that kick before they finally did and gave it to Mathis.

Everybody gets excited, as do I, when 'Mathis' just touches the ball because ANYTHING can happen.....

just imagine....

just imagine...

bwhahahahahaha God, we S-U-C-K!!!! A block & a shank to seal the Titans win....

...and, don't forget 'all' the points we've scored in the 2nd half of these last 3 games---NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT-but, I got to admit, Capers can sit on a lead with the best of them---for him, it's all about the last drive of the game except that his team (under him) always comes away empty---poor guy just does not have a clue

If they are throwing games now for the #1 pick it's sad that some good players have become sacrifical lambs. Damn. Kris Brown????

DD is proving his worth to this team recently, when healthy, we dont need no Reggie Bush
Thats why the more to draft Bush. Bush is a threat to score on every touch of the ball. I`m not knocking Davis but he does have durabilty issues which should be enough of a concern to have another quality back especially a Gale Sayers clone!!!!!

The Texans are taking losing in the last moments of a game into a whole new universe. I've never seen a team lose games like this in a row.

I just found out they are not showing the game in Austin. They are showing the Jax vs. Indy game.

I cannot believe this, I thought Fox was the only to screw us, They should be obligated to show the Regional action.

Hardcore...I feel you brother. I live in Shreveport LA and Houston is the regional game for our area. We stopped getting the regional feed, go figure, at the Cleveland game last year.

OK. I was at a Christmas party at the American Legion Hall today. I watched bits and pieces of the game, and saw the field goal Brown missed. Can someone give me a quick rundown of the game and was that field goal blocked or did he just miss it?

Tennessee just kicked a field goal for the win. Kickoff to Mathis w/ about 8 secs to go. Mathis to the Tennessee 35. 15 yard face mask penalty against Tennessee, 0:00 btw. Kris Brown from 31 yards for the tie to send it into overtime, WIIIIIIIIIIIDE LEFT. Game over.

Everything you posted I pretty much saw, but from watching the game and the replay, even if Brown's kick had been right down the middle, it looked like it would have been short anyway, it was so low and so wide I thought it was blocked but had no sound on the TV.

What can we get for trading the first or second pick of the draft?:

I'm thinking that at the minimum we should get: a top 10 pick in 2006, a 2nd, a 3rd, a 5th, and a #1 in 2007... That's a pretty conservative estimate. If that is so, here is hypothetically our draft:

2006: #6 overall, #33 overall, #38 overall, #65 overall, #68 overall (NO from the TJ trade), #70... plus 2 first round picks in 2007.

That's quite conservative but it sure is exciting. This team is setup to have one of the greatest one year turnarounds in NFL history. We are in good cap shape, we have a dirth of draft picks, and we have considerable young talent on this team.... A strong coaching staff can radically change this team in a hurry. It will certainly be a fun offseason... I don't think I've ever looked forward to the end of an NFL season as much as I have this year!!!
