Hmmmm, the weather reports are all over the place--some say 30-40% rain, some say no rain.

Right now, it looks most beautimus outside. Nice tailgate weather. Looks like there is rain offshore.

The Channel 2 website has this goofy but nice forecast: "The front has moved through. Now through Thanksgiving the weather looks good enough to gobble up!" I guess that is the sort of forecast you expect from a newscast that prominently features a weather dog.

Anyhow, just looking at the few clouds in the sky, the weather dog forecast looks right. Rain a lot last night, and now there is mostly blue skies and some high wispy clouds. Hope it sticks for later.

Let's Go Texans!!! :texflag:

I live too far away to go to a night game - so I, sadly, gave my tickets away. I'll be at home rooting for the Texans to win. We can win this game....I believe!

We have a retractable roof - that every team in the NFL is now copying. I say close it and LET'S JUST WIN!!!!!

What is the series b/w us and the Chiefs? Is it tied?

I have arrived in Houston and it is football weather. Got a cold soldier in front of me and waiting for an order of wings. Laptop is set up and waiting or my marching orders down Kirby.

Lets kick some Chef ****!

We live for Sundays???

We're in for another embarrassment (3 in a row now) in front of a national audience. The good news is this will be last one for several years.

Maybe this game will motivate McNair to finally make some management changes.

Our Houston Texans will tackle the Cheifs from Kansas City. Sunday Night Football, in Reliant Stadium, our house.

This is a big game for us in my eyes, with a win, we may be able to get something big going. I'm getting pumped for this game, and so should you. Cheer us on heavily, whether your going to the game or not. Be loud, we need to represent!

Lets hope for a win!

I love it when we play on ESPN. The commentators can be a little out there sometimes, but they are honest. Also, the picture seems sharper, and they have more behind the scenes stuff like interviews. I'm psyched, go David Carr, go Texans!

Props to Polk for bringing down Gonzales. Atleast we held them to a FG.

On that play, how did the Chiefs have 2 guys in motion at the same time? To guys went in motion to the right side on 3rd and 4 before the field goal.

Perfectly legal as long as they are not both moving when the ball is snapped.

Carr overthrows Gaffney on 3rd....that's the second incompletion that's his fault by my count. He has protection so far, but no accuracy. Another weird thing is we have yet to run the ball. Lots of 3 WR sets, is Pendry still calling the plays?

Who is in at LDE for us right now. They're really fighting to get to Green. The Chiefs RT has to fight him to the whistle. However, Green still has way too much time.

Are we the only team in the NFL that gets called for defensive holding on running plays? I can't recall the last time I have seen that called on a team other than the Texans.

Can you think of a better way to describe his play?

Just can the broken record stuff, OK? You got "horrible" and "terrible" on the brain. And don't use "own" anymore, either.

Ok, got it.

David Carr just needs a little more than 4 friggin' years to learn how to throw a pass against NFL talent.

They both have to come to a complete stop before one of them or another player can move again.
