Question. In overtime Seattle tried onside kick that went airborne minimum required yardage but it was in air so long Rams player called for fair catch. He was creamed. At first officials said ball was driven into the ground first before going airborne, hence illegal fair catch signal & penalized 5 yards to re-kick.. Officials reviewed & overturned ball hit ground first calling it legal signal/kick. But my question is what happened to penalty for hitting player who called for the fair catch? No penalty on Seattle.

I guess they can't retroactively call a penalty after a review that wasn't called originally.

no other way to sugar coat it. Mariota looks like Titans knocked it out of the park. Now Texans have to face two of the top young guns in the NFL for next decade, lol

Peyton hasn't looked very comfortable, in the game against us and again today. His footwork is hideous and he's a beat late on almost every throw. The offensive line certainly isn't helping him or the run game, but he's definitely struggling to adjust. He'll probably work through it during the season, but I wasn't expecting so much trouble week 1.

He's looked good yes, but against the Bucs. I'm not going to start worrying about him just yet.

Yeah. That 4th qtr was classic Kubiak. 3 pt lead 14:40 min in the game, grind out an eleven minute drive (longest of Peyton's career). Make it TD or die and put it on your D to stop a 2 min offense.

One team looked like it was trying to run Kubiak offense without Kubiak, and the other looked like it didn't know how to run a Kubiak offense.

3 games to go but it's been an interesting week 1. Loved seeing Colts get their asses handed to them. All of our WRs outplayed AJ. So that's a plus.

Mariota vs. Winston played out pretty much exactly like expected.

Winston will lead the league in INTs this year.

The Bucs are terrible. Horribly coached, especially on defense. Both those QBs will take their lumps, but Tampa will be much worse as a team.

Great dramatic come-from-behind wins for the Cowboys and Astros. It was a pretty good sports day for me. If only the Texans had won to complete an awesome day. Oh well, we'll stomp the Panthers and get it next Sunday.

Did y'all know Brice McCain was still playing in the NFL?

He's a corner for Miami, got an int today.

Agreed. Remember that Tennessee was just as bad as TB last year though. They had the #2 pick. They've turned over the coaching staff but they largely have the same players as last year. The Bucs weren't playing the Pats or anything close.

For a long time I've been of the opinion that Winston is going to be a huge turnover machine and eventually a bust in the NFL. I think Mariota will be an Alex Smith type of QB. So I wasn't surprised to see Mariota take what the defense gave him and play within the offense while Winston gave the ball away by making bad decisions.

For the Winston fans, it was just one game. The last QB to throw a pick six on his first ever attempt was Favre.

I just saw Winston perform exactly like I thought he would.

Dez Bryant.........confiirmed foot fracture.

Jerry must be thinking..........Great way to begin a huge contract.

Dez and Randy Gregory out 4-6, Gregory with a high ankle sprain.

Cowboys are deep at WR that it is not a total disaster. Gregory was the only one producing a consistent pass rush, which may be the bigger loss.

Looking forward to watching Teddy Ballgame tonight! ::Sigh:: What could have been.

Dez done for 4-6 weeks? I'm looking like a genius for picking up Terrance Williams in FF as a sleeper pick right now...

I'm dead. I picked both Leveon Bell & Martrveus Bryant. Fez was a big part of keeping me in the race until suspensions were served.

This is why you don't draft bad boys. The season is too short.

This is why I don't play FF anymore. Too frustrating. Didn't enjoy watching the games on Sunday anymore.

AP looks so locked in. Its going to help Bridgewater immensely. He already had a decent rookie year with little to no help, add AP and Mike Wallace. Watch out!
