We never needed a RB. The only reason Bush was on top of the draft board is that he's the sort of player the other team spends all their focus on. He's not a runningback, he's a defense-tamer.

Perhaps I should have made my point more clear. My concern is for the future, not criticizing the past. Someone floated a Casserly quote saying we could get a better Mario+2nd round runner pair than a Reggie+2nd round rusher. Worse, some rumor's going around about us trading up over the RB-needy teams at the bottom of the first to do so.
