Watson cant play football

I know you mentioned it. But there are plenty of people who don’t realize how awful of a teammate Shadeur has been and will have trouble grasping an NFL playbook.
Shedeur got sacked an average of 8 times per game last year and 7 times the year before at Colorado. Those are not bad numbers..............they are awful numbers!

He repeatedly publicly threw his OL under the bus following losses because of this. He and his father were responsible for the mass exodus of OL and assistant coaches from Colorado between his first year in 2023 and last year in 2024. His new OL evidently forgot how to pass protect also.

Like it or not, sacks are generally considered a QB-driven stat. The OL may be porous and allow early pressure, but QBs with poor awareness turn those pressures into sacks.

Shedeur's average time to throw last season of 2.96 seconds ranked 110th in the FBS, well above the national average of 2.76. He would hang on to the ball rather than dump it off or throw it away...................something that coincidentally was the same career trait that the Browns multimillion dollar QB was known for.

Looks like Haslam has managed to pick a QB that can readily slide into Watson's shoes.......................

Cleveland as a city with many problems is known as "THE MISTAKE BY THE LAKE"...............that moniker can easily by extended to include the Haslams, the Browns, and Watson. Undoubtedly, future additions are on the way.

Watson has resumed throwing at the Browns facility! I'm so excited..............I just can't hide it!!!!!!!!!! :)

According to the FO, that isn't naming anyone as a source, Watson is done in Cleveland. Apparently the reason for 2 rookies and 2 veterans is not to narrow down a 2nd and 3rd string QB if Watson can play. Rather it's so the team has a replacement for him. As the Browns plan to get rid of Watson.

Stole that off a Browns forum. And also this article

With what is coming up in the Tx legislature, Watson's future in football may be in prison ball.

If and when Watson returns to play this year, you will see major limitations in push-off strength/throwing power and mobility in general. With his shoulder issues and Achilles history, if he doesn't end up in jail in the next year, Watson should consider leaving football and opening up a massage spa.
