NFLN, and it ain't even close. NFLN blows ESPN away in every way possible, so the question why should be self-evident. However, just for the sake of playing along with the OP's query: Mayock > Kiper

More than likely I am following the draft from a hospital room and the TV will be commandeered by my daughter.

So I will be following online and enjoying 'expert' commentary by the miscreants that make up the draft community of texanstalk.com.

Oh man, you're just asking to be messed with...

With the 11th pick in the draft, the Houston Texans select: Jimmy Smith, CB and stoner from Colorado!

I accidentally picked ESPN but it'll be NFLN for a few reasons:

1.) For Mike Mayock & not annoying ass Melvin Kiper

2.) So i don't have to hear Berman's corny ass squealing the pick before it actually happens (i absolutely hate that which is why i'll still be watching with the volume nearly down to 0)

3.) The NFLN is closer on the dial to NBA-TV for Comcast as i'll likely be switching back & forth watching ORL & ATL's game 6 tonight.

4.) My HD comes in so much more crispier on NFLN it gives me goose bumps.....ESPN not so much.

NFLN about 80% and Espn 20% (especialy when they look like they are going to talk over the Texans pick, again)

I'm an anti-watcher:

When Deoin Sanders starts talking, the channel changes...

When Kiper starts beating his value dead horse, the channel changes.

espn by default. would rather watch it on nfln but cant..

hopefully no f'n ruining the picks by schefter or la canforna. i dont give a **** about knowing 20 seconds earlier. ruins the suspense & reaction when you know

I went with NFLN, I think it gives a deeper analysis. ESPN also just has a lot of analysts who just blow hot air most of the time.

I would probably watch NFLN though am stuck with ESPN. Anyone see ESPN had Dr. Phil on their draft coverage? Ha.

Both. I have ESPN on the TV and will stream NFL network on laptop.

THAT's why I am called the Draft Guru!!!

Where is the neither answer?

I don't want to watch it on any network because I want it to have poor ratings so the draft will go back to Saturdays. This circuis bullshit on week days where it's one round per night is a joke. I won't support it.

I'm on a espn.com blackout. They tend to ruin the surprise for me during the draft. I'll probably watch it on nfl network and avoid the forums as much as I can.

ESPN because I can't stand listening to Michael Irvin and Marshall Faulk, dumb and dumber. I agree with Texecutioner that the draft needs to go back to saturdays. Put a fork in the circus. I used to have a huge draft party every year but thanks to Goodell and his "I know what is best for the NFL" attitude I now watch it periodically while doing other stuff because everyone has to friggin work the next day. I'd venture to say more people watched the NBA playoffs, the Royal wedding or baseball than watched the NFL draft.

I think Faulk is OK, but Irvin why do they keep finding a place for him ? I mean by now he's got a rap-sheet that would make Tony Soprano proud and he has nothing to contribute except a loud, overbearing mouth.
But Grueden was strong and as a former NFL HC he's got cred, but no way they compete with the NFLNet crew. Mayoc is the man and the supporting cast of NFL-insider heavyweights completly blows away ESPN crew IMO.
And I like Rich more and more with his clever self-effacing humor. He mixes
in very well with the jocks and adds an appealing variety to the shows.

Don't get me wrong I like NFL network. Rich is fine. Mayock just ok. Commercials are extremely repetitive. I just don't like some of the commentators they hire. Just because you were a former player doesn't mean you are instantly the best analyst they can hire. I thought part of commentating meant you had to have some intelligence and be able to speak clearly. I have dish network because that is the only way I can have NFL network. But NFL network does have major flaws when it comes to draft day and when it comes to announcing games. Bob Papa sucks balls. NFL network isn't willing to pay the big bucks. Just ask Adam Schefter.

Im growing to seriously dislike Mel Kiper. I tried to watch ESPN because I like the channel better than NFLN in general, but I had to switch. I couldn't handle Kiper and his insecurity/fakeness

i can't stand ESPN's coverage of the draft. berman just needs to go, he's beyond played out. all kiper does is yell at the camera like he has some kind of vested interest on where each player should of went.

NFLN is the way to go, but i would like it more if they made some changes. love eisen, mayock is very informative even if you don't agree with his opinion. he appeals to the casual NFL fan all the way to the football junkies. they need to get rid of faulk and irvin, they offer absolutely nothing to the broadcast. the only former player they need there is brian baldinger. the guy knows how to break down film and isn't afraid to be honest with his opinions. i also like michael lombardi. also very informative and he brings in the FO point of view.

eisen - lombardi - baldinger - mayock...would be FTW, to me at least.
