USCs Carroll and Bush are 2 of a Kind

Carroll said he considered setting up a conference call with Bush and McKnight during a home visit in Louisiana last week but was told by his staff such a conversation was against the rules. Instead, Carroll said he spoke to Bush.
"When Joe was trying to get ahold of me, he wanted
to know what was going on, so I talked to Reggie and asked for some details and got him up to date," Carroll said. "That conversation with Bush (and McKnight) never existed. Reggie and everyone will tell
you it didn't happen."
Carroll said he blames Louisiana State fans for the controversy, because they are unhappy McKnight left the state and chose USC.

Which means they are both slick as snake-crap.

Bush-McKnight conversation and not knowing it was against the rules. Yea, you bet ! I suspect at the very least a recording of Bush's comments were played for the LA prospect. Man have LSU fans got to be PO'd about
this developement where Bush puts his USC ties ahead of anything going
on in the state of LA.
Reminds me of when Bush was so evasive and innocent-acting about the money under the table with his agent last year while still technically an amateur. His mentor Carroll taught him well about all the "fork-tongued" language.
 
That's a load of bull. LSU fans should be really PO'd. Carroll is acting like a baby shifting blame on them...and pleading ignorance. I can see carroll trying to get a coaching job in the nfl in the future and a stand up owner like bob asks him some questions and doesn't hire him cuz he a shady dude.

i thought the reason why this 'conversation' was such a big deal was because mcknight said they talked to reggie bush. then later said oh man boy i was just confused.

yup sure looks like tiger fans trying to start stuff to me.....

All I can say is, Carroll likes to live on the edge. They've already got a lot of
people looking at them with this Reggie Bush incident involving his family, the
free rent, and Bush's agent. They can't punish Bush over this, but they can sure burn USC.
Now Carroll goes into LA, all the way from the West Coast and into the heart of SEC country to grad one of their native sons with some real cute, semi-ethical maneuvering.
How bad do you think the whole SEC wants his butt burned after this incident ?
 
he needs to keep he butt clean...but doesn't look like he's too concerned with anything. i guess he thinks the ncaa will never touch usc.

i'm just tired of carroll more than anything. i was sad to see mckight go there but in all honesty can't blame him...usc is a great team. I was very surprised he didn't decide on LSU since he lives 30 min. from there. ole miss was never really in the picture imo...but he really liked his campus visit.

I think most fans in the SEC or rather the country kinda hope USC gets in trouble....if things just add up that the ncaa or pac 10 can't overlook anymore. They're just flaunting over in l.a. and think they are invincible. but we all know the arent inVINCEible. lol

I dont think the NCAA will ever touch USC with anything.

That is their golden football program.

If they havent been hit yet then it is never going to happen.

Alabama and SMU got smoked for doing just about the same things that USC is doing.
