INJURY REPORT:
- NT Seth Payne is expected to play for the first time in nearly a year in Friday's exhibition against Denver
RG Zach Wiegert rejoined the team after missing the last two weeks with an elbow infection.
RB Domanick Davis has been held out of practice the past two weeks with a sore left ankle, although it is not considered serious and he could play if the regular season began today.
RB Tony Hollings suffered bruised ribs on his left side against Pittsburgh and is day-to-day.
RB Jonathan Wells is recovering a hyper-extended left knee.
TE Bennie Joppru is out indefinitely with a groin injury. Joppru missed all of his rookie season with a similar, unrelated problem. There is no timetable for his return, but Joppru is hopeful he can begin working with the team in a couple of weeks.
S Ramon Walker, one of the team's best special teams players last season, was placed on the physically-unable-to-perform list to start camp while he recovers from a knee injury suffered late last season.
QB B.J. Symons, who could compete for the backup job as early as next season, was placed on the PUP list. He is recovering from offseason knee surgery.
RB Jason Anderson is out indefinitely with a sprained right ankle.
so who stole that playbook ... and where is it now?
