Ty Law making second vist to Detroit Monday

Second Visits usually are last visits :highfive:

Bly Law Bryant Kennedy, oh that would just be too freaking sweet

If he is healthy enought to play, I expect Matt Millen to sign him. He has been crowing for weeks about how he has one last big deal up his sleave. Ty Law has spoken highly of Detroit, went to Michigan University, his agents (the infamous Postons are based in Michigan) Matt has been after Ty all offseason early they checked out his medical condition.

I can't think of anything better to compliment our good rushing defense, good rushing offense, and potential exploision in the passing game like a pair of CB's that can take your #1 WR out of the game.

But, :pigfly: We'll see.

Lions | To Work Out Law Tomorrow

Nick Cafardo, of the Boston Globe, reports free agent CB Ty Law (Patriots) will work out for the Detroit Lions Monday, July 25, according to agent Carl Poston. It will be his second visit to the team.

NFL | More about Law Situation

Nick Cafardo, of the Boston Globe, reports agent Carl Poston said free agent CB Ty Law (Patriots) either has offers or drawn strong interest from six teams. Poston said New England isn't one of the six, but that Patriots coach Bill Belichick has placed calls to Law trying to gauge his interest in returning to New England. Poston said he would be ''surprised" to see the Patriots re-sign Law and thought it would be ''unlikely." Poston recently commented on some of the offers he has been receiving for Law. ''Some are hamburger and some are filet mignon," he said. Asked whether it was conceivable Law could get an offer similar to the four-year, $24 million deal he turned down from the Patriots last season, Poston said, ''That's hard to say right now. We haven't really started negotiating. I told some teams to give us their numbers and some have, but we haven't negotiated yet." Poston said he still expects Law to be ready for training camp.

Is it just me or does it seem as though Matt Millen is about to do something right? It doesn't happen often so I'm not really sure...

The Lions look good this year and if they sign Law they'll just get better. they already helped their secondary by stealing away Kennoy Kennedy from the Broncos ( :ouch: )

Had his work out, looked great.
Hasn't been offered a contract yet. He gets on that plane and he is gone
:goodnight :brickwall

Lions are submitting him an offer on Tuesday
Were extremely impressed by his workout.

GREAT pickup if you can get it done. It would probably put the finishing touche on the defense to where you guys will compete well for the division. If the offense can put up the number it SHOULD be able to, you will probably win the division as the defense should be better than GB's and about as good or better that the Vikes.
