Dangit, that's what I get for relying on what the Houston Texans official site said:

TexansChick when they say the put the pads on it means they went to shell. They wore shoulder pads and helmets. Trust me I know this for a fact. They will not go full pads till sunday.

Hmmm, it just didn't make sense to me of why as Kubiak would talk about putting on pads for the first time as it related to the second practice. Cuz I saw what they looked like in the morning.

But then again, the same set of quotes had Kubiak talking about Jerome Mathis twisting an ankle in practice too.

Ditto from the Austin area. The only thing I don't like about living in Central Texas is the distance to Reliant. :crying:
 
Very true. That Hooters is about 3 miles from my house. Try eating at Rudy's if you haven't ever had it the next time you come up.
 
not roundrock, but in off of 183(research blvd) and Duval road is Bone Daddy's .. not to say I don't like Hooters, but the staff their is a little more friendly than the Hooters staff (Bone Daddy's serve BBQ,burgers type of stuff)
 
TJ looks like he has slimmed down quite a bit! That is good news, maybe he can gain some speed with his new figure.

I agree with you "Neck." There is a lot to like and dislike in this photo. I like the fact that Babin's getting into the backfield, and I don't like the fact that Babin's getting into the backfield! :goodbad:

I'm not familiar with #16 Ross, but I liked what I saw from him in the photos. He looked like he has some leaping ability. I like the way he seems to be going up to get the ball at its highest point. Conversely, it looked like Starling was letting the ball get into him too much on a couple of the photos. Now, before anyone says anything, this is just my conjecture from what I saw in photos. I wasn't there, so I could be mistaken. Take it for what it is worth.
 
Well, there's the white / white look some people were looking for as an alternate. Personally, I'm preferring a "two-tone" style vs an all one color.

After successfully picking Chloe as the winner of Project Runway last season, I think that I am uniquely qualified to say the white on white lacks originality and seems almost vulgar. :)

Get used to that. I was at the University of Nebraska at Kearney the last two years working in the Sports Information Dept. It is totally amazing what Richie can do. His senior year, he was even on the kick block formations. If you look at his total numbers, they are astonishing.

I dunno, but wish they'd let you into every practice as the Texans main website official photographer. When its a practice where fan access is denied (unfortunately thats most) I miss seeing your pics.

I did just get my media passes last night so I should be able to get into the closed practices. However I just started a new job so me getting down there during the week is hard to do.

I couldn't agree more. Your photos are awesome. You can really see the expressions on their faces and how bad they want it. As good as it gets without actually being there. Thanks BullPenPhotos for making it easier and that much more enjoyable to follow the Texans progress.
