trade carr to cleveland

Would you trade Carr and a secon or third to Cleveland for the third or fourth pick if Thomas, Russel, Quinn, or Peterson are there?
 
Quinn is local for the Browns and doesn't have a half of decade of failed potential tugging at him so I don't think the Browns would trade for Carr if they want to choose a QB.
 
this is like that seinfeld episode where the girl says she got herpes from the tractor seat and they just walk out of the room.

your right according to thetexanator this shouldn't even be discussed, after all Carr is a Pro Bowler and I think around his tenth year in the league we should really start seein some improvement. Why would we go a different direction, he still needs time to prove himself, we really don't know what we got yet. I think the browns would like to bring in a veteran QB to compete w/ frye and then draft OL or OL or maybe more OL. and Texans can get AP and sign Garcia to run the WCO and draft a QB to develop behind him.
 
we could be able to do carr and 8th pick to cleveland for 3rd pick and maybe a 3rd rounder, but they probably would not throw in the 3rd rounder, maybe a 4th rounder. With the 3rd pick we would be guarenteed Russel, Quinn, Thomas, or Peterson. But I would say it would be better to keep Carr rather then trade him to move up 5 spots seeing as how we can stay at 8 and still get Peterson, Landry, or Nelson.

you dont get it do you? cleveland wont take carr because he sucks. would you do that trade if you were cleveland? why would cleveland trade for a qb of equal suckiness as their current qb?

Yea plus Vinny I dont want to live in Cleveland, kinda cold there. Just let him suck here for another year.:shades:

O and if he leaves who would you guys blame the losses on then? :)
 
great, so we end up with all of Carr's bonus on our hands AND have to pay for another top 3 pick, along with the contracts of AJ (#3 overall) and Mario (#1) overall AND all the cut players such as Wade, Walker and Smith.... oh, and then fill all the wholes on our team (FS, CB, LB, OL, DL, RB?) without the help of a second or third round pick...and go into the season with a rookie quarterback. wow
 
Yeah I think Cleveland will make a run at a QB in the offseason. There is no way it will be for David Carr. I think that Cleveland could make a serious run at trading up for the 1st pick and selecting Jamarrcus Russel. Russel and Phil Savage are in the kahoots together. Savage might do anything to get him, even if that means trading up, which would be perfect for the Raiders so they can trade down and draft Calvin Johnson, the player they really want.
